The Valor is one of our favorite ships. However, this cruise it seemed at times that crew did not care about the service they provided. This is a big change from the past experiences we have had on the Valor. The ports were all great except for Belize. We found Belize to be dirty and did not safe there.

The room attendant left a lot to be desired. She had to be asked for everything, including fresh towels.
Ship tip
If you need help in the Fun Shop, find Rosy, she is a terrific sales person and goes out of her way to please the guests.
The best snorkeling in the western Caribbean. Visit Playa Maya Resort when you stop there. Do not go to La Casa En La Playa. The beach is all jagged rocks all the way out. It was impossible to get to the water. The pool was low on water and the filter was not running. It was dirty, cloudy and had bugs swimming around in the water. was obvious there was no cleaning of the water.
Do not go to the port. It is dirty and we did not feel safe. Take an excersion that picks up right at ship without having to tender to the port. Starfish Cay is a great trip. They provide great service and good food and drinks.
The Jungle Beach Break is a great trip. The service is very good. Ask for Jose, he will keep your glass full all day. The drinks are high quality and plentiful.
