I share with you my experience with Carnival Sunrise Cruise. From my experience, I can tell you the following: - Luggage arrived in a reasonable time. We left it outside the terminal with the porters. - Room attendant Pat was super friendly and helpful. She was always attentive to our needs, and the cleaning service never interrupted our daily activities. - The room was very hot, and even though the temperature was reported to be within the acceptable range, it was uncomfortable. We requested a check, and they offered us a fan. The fan worked quite well. - Gratuity is not included for children under 2 years old. You can choose to give the tip in cash or add it to your account. Additional tips can also be left in envelopes. - Buffet was crowded during boarding, which seems to be a common occurrence. - Long lines to enter and pick up children from the camp. At least one night, they didn't charge us extra time for picking up the kids due to the long wait, but I waited for more than 20 minutes. It only happened the first night of the cruise; afterward, it was much easier. - The service at the Sunrise Restaurant was not satisfactory, with waitstaff being described as generally unfriendly and inattentive. The main issue is in the kitchen, where dishes take a long time to come out. Inconsistency in the availability of white bread at the restaurant. Caesar salad, roasted tomato soup, and roasted duck rolls were described as very tasty but served cold. Desserts are almost nonexistent; the most you can find is ice cream, cheese, and about two desserts that change daily. If you like cheesecake, they offer it best in a café bar on the ship that requires payment. My favorite dinner dish is a cordon bleu they offered one of the nights. - Limited services for children under 2 years old. No baby changing tables in public bathrooms, which I find unreasonable considering the cost of a child is the same as an adult, so the services for them should be better. Requesting a crib for a baby is important, but only a regular crib was provided instead of a playyard. - Entertainment activities are varied, but in general, I think they could organize better group parties. There aren't many outside of those held at the pool. - If you go to the port of Miami, I recommend parking right there at the pier for $22 per day. - I really liked the arcade, the candy store, and there are some shops for items, but it's more for people who like jewelry. - The experience is not necessarily bad, but considering the cost, I believe they could offer better service, and that seems to have been lacking lately in this cruise line.

Rough sailing, ship was moving back and forth the whole ship, most people on the ship were sick, service were horrible, gift shops were over prices , ship smelled like weed, people were fist fighting, couples were fist fighting in there rooms, kids were out of control, security is non existent, food was horrible. I will never cruise Carnival again.

We had a good time, ship clean, for the most part, staff is great! There should be security staff around the pool area and smoking area. My husband enjoys a cigar. In the smoking area, there was an awful lot of marijuana smoking. Pool area and hot tubs unruly children and marijuana vaping. We will not be taking a 4 night Thursday - Monday cruise again.

Overall it was very enjoyable. Biggest issue was debarking. The housekeeping staff was very helpful and friendly and the activities were a lot of fun.

Nice cruise for a first timer for the money. Would definitely do it again.

We chose this ship because the timing had minimal impact on 6 children missing school and we spent Thanksgiving on the ship. The dinner was great. The food overall was very good. However, this ship has very minimal areas for shade near any of the pool areas. Carnival uses the overhangs near the pool for food areas and tables. Very, very hard to find shade. If you like an extreme party atmosphere, this is for you.

The Carnival Sunrise is a horrible ship. It was overcrowded and has a horrible layout. If it was not for our wait staff, band, and performers our holiday family vacation would have been a huge disappointment.

When you get your port of call that you were most looking forward to taken away it is pretty disappointing. It seems like part of you fare should be refunded, not just port taxes. Still haven't received the refund from the missed excursions and port fees amd can't even log into the sail and sign account to check the status anymore.

Overall we were so happy with our first cruising experience. From the time we got on the ship to the time we left the ship everything was top notch. We are already looking into booking another cruise.

The embarkation process could not have been easier. Staff very kind & approachable. In general, if you're looking for a relaxing, quiet cruise this is not for you. However, Carnival is known as the "Funship". If the constant drone of loud music, announcements & loud yelling people is for you, this is for you!

This was my first and last Carnival cruise. It was like someone opened the door to the zoo and walked away.

Appreciating everything carnival did but the people and guests on this boat were really loud selfish and probably will not do it again.

Overall it was ok. The comedian only talked about black kids and white kids and how tough black kids were and how wimpy white kids were. As a father of 2 tough white boys, we could not relate. Even if it is jokes, find something else to joke about instead of the entire set be about race.

We had a great cruise. The staff and service was amazing. The activities and entertainment were fun. The food was good but I was a little disappointed by the seafood options in the main dining room. I would have enjoyed more fish/crab.

Enjoyed the cruise and being with family and friends.

This was my first cruise and it won’t be the last. Had a lot of fun.

First carnival cruise. I would go again. But know ahead the embarkation is confusing once onboard and overall no enforcement of rules. There were many children on our cruise (late Sept) and they made it loud and used hot tubs all week. Ports of call were great. I can’t believe how beautiful the water is and overall how clean the islands were. Food and staff couldn’t be better and made the trip even better.

Regret choosing older, smaller ship. I'll never go to Jamaica again because of the loud and obnoxious crowd that destination attracts. The food choices are very limited on buffet and dining room and just tasted ok. Paid upcharge 1 day for Filet Mignon and that was worth it. We've cruised around 8 times on Carnival but not sure if we'll ever go on Carnival again.

1. The 6th floor regularly smelled like feces. 2. The LIDO buffet food was not as good as the Sunshine, even though it was the same menu for the most part. The buffet needs more veggie options! 3. Bar staff were clearly racist, preferring to serve Caucasian customers first. 4. Carnival lied: the a/c is still messed up on the Sunrise. 5. The activities, hot tubs, friendly ppl and being on vacation were the best parts.

Mother and daughter cruise .we had an awesome time. My daughter's first cruise. She loved it. Food was 😋.
