Carnival Sunrise

5 Night Eastern Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)

Sail date: September 09, 2023

Ship: Carnival Sunrise

Cabin type: Balcony

Cabin number: 6355

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Review summary

1. The 6th floor regularly smelled like feces. 2. The LIDO buffet food was not as good as the Sunshine, even though it was the same menu for the most part. The buffet needs more veggie options! 3. Bar staff were clearly racist, preferring to serve Caucasian customers first. 4. Carnival lied: the a/c is still messed up on the Sunrise. 5. The activities, hot tubs, friendly ppl and being on vacation were the best parts.

Very harsh actuations to crew members. If there was a real issue you should have filled a formal complaint. Not happy with this review. Cruising is to have fun and not to find complaints.

The racism you perceived is all in your mind. Carnival workers are not like that.

People that accuse others being racist and lying are questionable at best.

Sorry your cruise was less than what you expected. Concerning taking a small boat from the ship to port, this is called tendering and is a detail all cruisers should research prior to boarding their cruise. Many ports are tender ports. Then, plans can be made should this present any complications.
