Review summary

Regret choosing older, smaller ship. I'll never go to Jamaica again because of the loud and obnoxious crowd that destination attracts. The food choices are very limited on buffet and dining room and just tasted ok. Paid upcharge 1 day for Filet Mignon and that was worth it. We've cruised around 8 times on Carnival but not sure if we'll ever go on Carnival again.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Sorry you were disappointed. When I “need” a bacon fix, I go to the deli and get a BLT.😁

freedom had bacon every day in the mdr, as well as 4 out of 5 days in lido. this was Sept 2

Not always courtneyb, our last Carnival the MDR breakfast had days they did not have bacon. The “shortage” (or the ‘not’ cutback) may also be due to the price rise due to the California law that specifies new and larger cages for pigs raised commercially.

cruise lines don't get to choose when it's time to start boarding passengers. that's up to customs and the coast guard. at times they have surprise inspections. and what is up with people whining about freaking bacon and not having it everyday at the buffet? you want bacon everyday? go to the dining room. they always have it
