We had a good time, ship clean, for the most part, staff is great! There should be security staff around the pool area and smoking area. My husband enjoys a cigar. In the smoking area, there was an awful lot of marijuana smoking. Pool area and hot tubs unruly children and marijuana vaping. We will not be taking a 4 night Thursday - Monday cruise again.

Main dining and staff were wonderful food was very good. The specialty Italian restaurant was very good. Service was not as good as the main dining room.
Onboard Activities

Fitness center, slides, golf, were great. However, we enjoy sitting in the hot tub, The 2 hot tubs by the pool were crowded with children jumping in, rough housing, without parents attending to them every day, the entire day. No staff was present to correct them. Some of the little ones were wearing life vests in the hot tub. I believe for that reason, the other 3 hot tubs we over crowded. If people were in the hot tubs, the children joined and basically ran them out because they had no respect and rough housed while we were in there, basically running us out. There were about 10 little ones in each hot tub rough housing which made it very unpleasant for anyone to enjoy.
Entertainment

One of my favorite things about cruising is the shows. The performers were wonderful. We saw both shows, loved the first one. The Holiday show was for the little ones, a little disappointed, but understand it was for the children.

My grandson went once. He is 8 years old and very active. Finding that they stay in a room was very disappointing to him. When my children were young, the kid camp was full of fun activities outside. They had night slides, music and pizza, etc. I am talking about 30 years ago, but it was memorable to my son that he had my grandson so excited to be in this camp.

We loved Eli, our room steward! He was wonderful! Pool bar staff could have been a little more friendly. Most of the Ship’s personnel were nice.

Very clean shop, some of the tables around the pool area were sticky, ketchup on the sides of the table, sticky seats.

Ship tip
We will not take another 4 night Thursday to Monday cruise again. Staff should Monitor hot tubs. Young children who do not behave should be removed and maybe a time limit. The same children every day should not be allowed to occupy them all day every day.
Water taxi was fine. Mad house to get back on the water taxi. Happy moon cat was beautiful, however we were not informed we’re all the activities were taken place, later in the day when we found out, we were disappointed we did not participate. The itinerary listed the activities but not a location. It is a large beach, very crowded. The water sports are limited, we tried to rent a kayak or bike, but told they were sold out. After seeing these things we’re not being used, we asked about it, and we were told “they had been reserved and they were no shows and if we had waited for to see of people did not show, then we could have rented one.” First, we were never told that, when we asked, the response was just, “sold out” nothing else. Drinks are Very Expensive!!! The beverages come from the ship, served by ship staff. The beverage package should be accepted on Carnival’s private island. This is pretty much price gauging charging us double, the daily price for the package and then again on your island with the drinks coming from the ship!
The port was nice, however we did the excursion to pearl island and swim with the pigs. The swim with the pigs was a great experience, staff friendly, but that was all. Pearl island was a great disappointment! Nothing is there. Poor beach, music only in certain sections, lunch staff were not friendly.
Cruise lines do not correct/babysit other people's children. It is the parents job. And apparently parents feel it's fine for their children to use the hot tubs as a pool.
