We had a fantastic time on the Carnival Splendor. The ship was amazing. The staff and crew treated you like royalty. The food was superb. The ports and excursions were unforgettable. The cruise director kept you informed so you always knew what was happening. Best vacation we have ever had. Our weather was great too which of course helped make for an awesome vacation.

The excursions were the best part of the cruise because they were NEW, UNIQUE and EXCITING!!! With exception of Turk and Cacose and the Carosoa weather it was good. Whatsup with the entertainment and cruise activities...bad and boring. The passengers deserve better. Stop giving US the same old sh**t but different year! You feel me????? Is it that hard to devise a new game or entertainment for pleasure. Don't have time or just too lazy....Google some ideas...dame!

Overall excellent cruise. Very good room steward, dining room serving staff, main stage troop entertainment and O2 leader. Internet technology very poor and, as a result, poor value.

We had a wonderful time! Our waiter I MADE and cabin steward Enrique did amazing jobs!! Aruba and Curacao were our favourite stops. Have recommended cruise to family and friends already. We are planning another cruise for next year.

This was our fourth cruise on Carnival and to be honest, we were thinking about looking elsewhere after the experience of our 2016 cruise on the Fascination -- which was saved only by the amazing ports we visited. But after the experience we had on the Splendor this time, our loyalty to Carnival is back to being as strong as ever.

The ship was immaculate, the food and entertainment were top-notch and the ports were great. But what really stood out was the amazing crew. From our waiter Gultekin, to cruise director Steve From Canada to Jeff the Fun Dude in the comedy club, the staff was visible and highly personable. We especially appreciated the way the staff at the aft pool and hot tubs strictly enforced the "adults only" rules, making the area a quiet and relaxing place for a couple whose kids are grown. The customer service was also second-to-none. We had two potential issues, one in the Golden Pearl Dining room on the first night of our cruise and one involving the Spa on our final day at sea, but thanks to the efforts of maitre d's Yuri and Kostyshyn, and Alexandra at the guest services desk, both potentially bad situations were resolved in a quick and positive manner.

All-in-all, we had an amazing experience that could only have been improved by a more organized embarkation/debarkation process at Port Everglades.

Carnival has mastered the art of cruising. This was my 10th cruise with Carnival, and it just keeps getting better every time. All the ports were phenomenal! Already booked next cruise!

The entertainment was nice, the ports of call was exciting, and the staff was friendly.  The food was limited in selection, and the wait in the main dining was ridiculous. We waited over two hours to eat one bite and over an hour other nights. I would recommend this cruise only because of the ports of call. Very disappointed in the main dining and food selection.

Need to clean the pools. It was disgusting. There should never be a nasty grease line around it every day. My kids were not able to enjoy the pool. The food was good and the servers were excellent. Entertainment was lacking.

No in Carnival very poor, terrible. No recommended to anyone. Room very small and uncomfortable rate 1 star ,My family was a little disappointed with the shows and activities.

see above. we covered each area in depth…..we are probably done with carnival as they have gone too ar downhill to make it back up without a major effort..unfortunately it appears that the effort is becoming less rather than more

From cruise director to stewards, Carnival Splendor crew really knew their stuff. However, my favorite people were Natalja, Felix, and Edwin of the Black Pearl. Also the lady at the front desk of the restaurant. Their ability to make you feel comfortable brings great credit to themselves and Carnival as a whole. I'll be back! I also want to commend and thank the steward Suphol, he was very helpful.

I would not use Carnival Splendor again. The boat is very confusing. To get from one to the other, you had to go up and then down. We always had lines, dinner, getting off, getting back on, customer service desk, drinks.My husband and I both got headaches after day 4 and I got really sick on day 6 and was sick for 10 more days after I got home. Dr. said I had a virus.I had serve headache and fever,chills,and body aches. My husband only had headache for 6-7 days. 

The decor is outdated by a few decades, there was a sewage smell throughout the entire 2nd deck that never went away.  Friendliest crew I have ever experienced anywhere at any time on any ship ever.  Food was good, bed was comfortable.  St. Kitts and St. Marten were wonderful, San Juan was just ok but don't even bother getting off the boat in grand Turk, otherwise referred to as grand turd by most.  nothing to do, prices extremely high, horrible beach and rude people.  Again Nicest staff ever experienced makes the cruise worth taking.

The boat was very outdated in its décor.  The food was sub-par and usually cold.  Buffet was mundane and repetitive.  Pizza was good!  Pools were very small and overcrowded, could never get a lounge chair.  On board activities were limited and overcrowded.  The only good thing was the comedy club having nightly performances.  We will never cruise with Carnival again.

The boat is on its last cruise and then its sold!! The dinning room service was extremely poor. The room attendants Luis was awesome!!! The comedians some were very good and some were boring.  If you like the trivia-- they did most of it in the lounge and it was way too small so we didn't get to participate. 

what is with the short time on shore???? We were on St Kitts and on our excursion our guide said the distance was less than 50 miles--but it took all night to get there???  And Puerto Rico we arrived at 7:45 and we had to be back on board by 1:30 (our excursion booked thru carnival started at 9:30 and ended at 1:30pm--- we were an hour late!!) why so short of time when were only headed to Grand Turk --we were there early!!! 

we had an issue back at home while we were on vacation and an emergency happened. Family members called Carnival to get a message to us---NEVER RECEIVED THE MESSAGE!!!!

This was our 7th cruise. It was just ok. You have to treat each cruise different. We always eat in the MDR. We lost our head waiter about 1/2 way through the cruise. Never told us why. So we were short staffed the last 2 or 3 nights. Pixel staff struggled. The entertainment at night was a little off. Sound trouble cancelled a show and struggled at other times. Now for the great...Comedians were awesome. Brittany of the fun staff was awesome! The food was great every day. The cover was used a time or two to cover the pool and movie during any rain. Weather was awesome 99% of the time. Easy Breezy cover band did a nice job with music in the lobby. 8 nights was great. Carnival hub app worked well for communication within our group. San Juan port was too short.

All 8 days was my favorite part of the cruise! Yes, I would recommend Carnival to a friend!

Komang was a great Room Steward.

In the formal dining room, Goran & Sunny were absolutely great as well!  These three guys took really good care of us as well as the others who provided outstanding customer service!

I reserved a inside cabin and once on bard they gave me porthole with one single bed and one sofa bed. Vessel need better make up, new mattress, new chairs on dining rooms and other areas. Food variety is poor and low quality preparation. Complementary drink for gold member is only available on the last night of the cruise. Spa service  are very expensive, we got access VIP pass for the entire cruise and your only privilege is the steam room and the busy Jacuzzi with no room for more than 10 people.

Carnival lost a lots of quality and price are not more cheaper than rest of the cruise companies.

We love the Carnival cruise staff, from our room attendant Gary, to the Gold Pearl hostess, to the dinner wait staff / all great people.  The condition of our room was adequate, the deck was very dirty / and the staff seemed unprepared to do an excellent cleaning job when we complained about the deck.  We were also surprised about the food / friends has told us we would be pleasantly surprised about the quality of the food, that was far from the reality we experienced / small dinner portions were the rule, fish was very over cooked and fishy on one night / Grand Marnier souffle was really not a souffle or Grand Marnier.  The ship is getting a little run down in places.  The shows were big on energy, but lacking in good singers / I hate to say that because one or two were exceptional, and most were not.  The drinks are inconsistent by bar-tender / sometimes on shot in a margarita and other times two shots :)   We loved the stops and excursions, and overall my wife and I had a very good time together / so it was not all bad.  Dan
