overall very good, needs more pg evening entertianment

THE ITINERARY GIVE YOU THE ILLUSION , YOU ARE IN ACAPULCO FOR TWO DAYS, YOU ARE THERE ONLY 12 HOURS. WHEN WE ARRIVED IN ACAPULCO , WE ARE TOLD NUMEROUS TIMES THAT ITS VERY DANGEROUS BY THE CRUISE DIRECTOR !!!!!!. DO NOT GET OFF THE SHIP OR GO INTO TOWN UNLESS YOU PURCHASE AN EXCURSION. ITS DANGEROUS IF YOU TRAVEL IN ACAPULCO ALONE. I WANT TO KNOW WHY WAS THE TRIP NOT CANCELLED DUE TO SO MUCH DANGER TO THE PASSENGERS!!!!! PROFITS CAME FIRST NOT SAFETY FOR THE PASSENGERS. THE FOOD ON THE SHIP WAS SO BAD, I PAID TO EAT AT THEIR STEAKHOUSE $30.00 PLUS GRATUITY FOR THREE NIGHTS, I ATE DRY RAISIN BRAN , BOUGHT PASTRIES FROM THEIR COFFE SHOP AND CAPPACINO OR WHEN WE STOP AT THE THREE PORTS I BOUGHT FOOD IN TOWN. I ATE IN THE DINING ROOM TWICE THE FOOD WAS COLD, DRY AND JUST RIGHT OUT NASTY. I HAVE BEEN ON ABOUT 8 OR 9 CRUISES AND THIS CRUISE WAS ROCK BOTTOM. I REPORTED MY COMPLAINTS TO GUEST SERVICES AND ASK FOR A CREDIT OR A CERTIFICATE TOWARD A FUTURE CRUISE. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. I AM GOING TO SEND A DUPLICATE LETTER TO THE MAIN OFFICE IN MIAMI FLORIDA.

This is my first cruise I have ever taken, I would be glad to take it again. I realy enjoyed everything that was provided in the shipl, have no word to rate this experience, its one of a kind..

This has timed out 3 times so I'll just say I was very disappointed. Staff not knowledgeable.

Very tacky at first! Colors and textures clashing everywhere. But once we got into the "Carnival spirit" it made sense and we liked it! The food was ready and easy to get,with lots of stations and small lines. We arrived at lunch time and could not get into rooms until 1:30 so it was nice to have lunch and watch the boarding process from deck. The room seemed small but when we put all our things in the many perfect places provided it was great! Three of us in one room and not crowded! Need that at home! Great comedy acts and shows!!!

The food, service, cleanliness of all areas was great.

The ship was very nicely appointed, very clean, and staff was terrific. The whole experience was very good. Embarkation simple, easy, and smooth. Plenty of things to do on the ship, shows, games and food all top notch.

My wife and I were celebrating our 25th anniversary, had a balcony cabin on deck 8. with five days at sea it was great to sit in privacy, read and watch the world go by.

Have sailed on Carnival's Spirit before....know the ship and feel at home.

We were impressed with how helpful everyone was. We loved the animals that were made for us each night. The best thing about the cruise were the variety of things going on everyday while we were on the ship. There was constantly something going on that you could get involved with. Sleep was not a high priority because there was so much to do on the ship. The shore excursions were great and priced appropriately. When you are in the port of Skagway, a must do thing is the Yukon Highway on the bus and ride the train back along the White River. It was breathtaking and well worth the time and money. Enjoyed every moment of our cruise and will do it again real soon!

It was probably one of the better ships i have been on. It was clean and neat. Food was good.

This was our second time on an Alaskan cruise. We sailed with another cruise line previously, but got a great price on the Carnival Spirit, so we chose to take the deal this time! It was a good experience overall. The crew was fun and friendly, the room was more spacious than on the previous trip, and we enjoyed all the trivia contests/games on board. On the downside, the variety of on board activites was limited. There was always a place to listen to music and usually some trivia stuff, but there were lots of times that we would've liked more options since we don't gamble or want to go to art auctions. Thankfully, there were many more positives than negatives. We loved the trip. It's great for families! Our wait staff in the dining room was FANTASTIC and the activites people were very fun. The shore excursions made the trip even better! We had excellent experiences on them all!

The Cruise was a very enjoyable experience. I have difficulty walking and walk with a cane. In La Playa Grill the staff was always there to carry everything to my table even a cup of coffee or glass of orange juice. Potrs of call were great-Skagway was my favorite. Room was cleaned neatly and nothing personal was ever bothered unless it was clothes neatly folded and stacked. We loved the towel animals that graced our room each evening, The ship personel was friendly with smiling faces on probably 90% of faces. With direct eye contact probably 99% smiling. I did not attend any shows or visit the casino. Food was great.

The ship was outstanding! We had never been on a cruise before and were pleasantly surprised. The ship was very, very, very clean and the staff were so accommodating. Next time I will need to lose a few pounds to make up for the 24 hour food and ice cream bar. We would and probably will take another cruise with this cruise line. Thank YoU!!!

Generally, friendly, helpful and smiling people working for this cruise ship. Wonderful room steward! Friendly and helpful staff at the service desks. Good shows, great comedian! This is a must see, must do cruise, just make sure you do it from a balcony! Hot cocoa on a lounge chair in your PJ's and a bath robe in the early morning is fantastic!

We sailed on the Spirit the 2nd time. The ship is getting older but still looks clean. The food was excellent. The shows were average. The service is above average. Overall this is still a very good cruise ship.
