Review summary

Generally, friendly, helpful and smiling people working for this cruise ship. Wonderful room steward! Friendly and helpful staff at the service desks. Good shows, great comedian! This is a must see, must do cruise, just make sure you do it from a balcony! Hot cocoa on a lounge chair in your PJ's and a bath robe in the early morning is fantastic!

Some dining room and wait staff would never smile, and appeared like they didn't want to be there.

Book tours early, we thought we would just get off and buy a tour locally, and the two were were debating on were both booked for the entire day. Call ahead or book through the ship!

Skagway, Alaska

We did the 8 hour bus/train tour it the Yukon and it was breath-taking to say the least. I feel like we sat there with our mouths gapping open in awe.
Don't Miss: White Pass and Yukon Rail tour (8 hour with meal and stops)

Victoria, British Columbia

We could not dock at Victoria due to high winds so the Captain, for safety reasons, would not enter the area(canal?)

Juneau, Alaska

Some how when we got off the ship, there was a parade. We asked a "local" and they said they have this parade every two years! It was wonderful.
Don't Miss: Glacier tour

Pros: The views from our balcony window and shore excursions

Cons: food selection and some dining staff
