Rate the good with the bad the bad won! The good on Royal Caribbean won when I cruised with them. I've only sailed 2 times in my life and Carnival not in my future.

We were looking forward to another Carnival experience after our great cruise last year. It did not live up to the standard set previously. A few bright glimmers, but overall a little disappointing.

Never again with carnival cruise line. It was the worst vacation/ cruise I have ever been on.

This was a very fun cruise. While nothing was wrong at all with the cruise itself my one point of feedback is that with a 8 day cruise there should have either been more ports of call or longer stays in the ports. We ended up floating off the coast of Virginia for a full day coming back which seemed like waste of time. Taking two days to get to Puerto Rico and another two to get back from Grand Turk is just wasteful.

This was my 4th Carnival cruise and my 1st post COVID. Lots has changed, and not for the better. From the long lines for everything, Carnival pushing more and more self service to cell phones and the hub app to the general state of disrepair on the ship I will not be cruising with Carnival again. I spent the last 2 days watching the Discovery channel in my cabin to get away from all the lines. I didn't spend $4000+ to sit in lines all day. If I wanted that I would have gone to Disney World.

I have been on 5 other cruises and this one was absolutely horrible. The food was terrible and at times not edible. It is bad when you lose weight on a cruise ship. Never again will I sail on Carnival.

Overall it was not bad. I would have liked if we could have spent more time in each of the ports as until we got off and had to get back on it seemed like a short time. The Excursion part could have definitely been set up better from beginning to end. I would also like if the carnival hub allowed you to text/chat with other people on the ship without having to purchase wifi

It was an 8 Night Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Magic. Sailing dates were July 8th through July 16th, 2023. Calling to the ports of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic and Grand Turk, Turks, and Caicos. We had 4 sea days between leaving and returning to Norfolk, Virginia.

Had a great time. Ports of call were very hot in July. Food was great especially the Italian restaurant. The pizza station at night was great after leaving the casino.

Wonderful experience. Can't wait to cruise again. The trip was a very neat first experience. All staff from embark ship until returning was just amazing. My room staff was so nice..greeted us by name each morning.

Said above. Windy is the best room service! My kids loved her and bonded.

A pretty good cruise - not our best cruise but certainly not the worst.

Everything was great. We are both disabled and using mobility scooters. We had no trouble and enjoyed everything

We went on this cruise to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We enjoyed it immensely mostly due to the staff on the ship. Our fellow passengers to a large extent did not fit our demographic. Fortunately, the Magic seemed to realize this and they set us at a table for dinner with other couples around our age. We did not drink much or order much alcohol on board because it was overpriced compared to some of the other cruises we have been on. The shows which often are a big draw on the cruises need a bit more... something. The major winner was the spa which was easily twice the size of the ones we've enjoyed on some bigger ships.

8 day cruise. Not a whole lot to do on the ship (just my opinion) for a cruise that length. But a week on a cruise ship is better than a week at work. Out of the 4 of us ,1 came off with the flu, and I ended up with a massive head cold 2 days later. Either way....we enjoyed our vacation.

This is the second time we have been on the Magic. We do like this ship. We had a very relaxing cruise and really enjoyed the family time. It was nice since it was close for us to drive to the port and not have to fly. If you have not taken a Journey's cruise you really should try it.

This was our first ten day cruise that allowed us so much time to unwind by relaxing, catching up on much needed rest, and spreading out our activities. It let us know that ten day cruises or more can be beneficial to our time spent on the ship.

The dining room, Dean and staff was excellent. Food was very good. Shopping and the Lobby Bar with the Violin Trio was very good. The Arcade was over crowded and some machines were not working, No one to help with problems.
