It was such a great time on the legend

The balcony view was totally worth the extra cost. It was wonderful to sit outside. The views were spectacular. We had coffee delivered every morning.it was such a peaceful time.great memories. We didn’t need half the clothes we brought, but it was unusually warm, so think twice about what you take. Also, they have conveniently located laundry on board.

Strongly recommend booking an Extended Balcony Cabin. Really gives you extra space to stretch out your legs when sitting with another person on your balcony.

Bought 2 sound machines for sleeping. Each one set to a different white noise. We are both very light sleepers and didn't hear a thing any night of our cruise and we were right under the pool deck! Smaller and better able to control volume, than a fan. ;-)

If you are a non-smoker, consider a cruise line that enforces no smoking areas more seriously. If you are a smoker, get a balcony room and enjoy smoking outside on your balcony without any hassles.

We loved Peter the Cruise Director! He was very, very informative and full of fun....BYEEEEE..... As well, we enjoyed watching the naturalist on the TV in our room. She provided a lot of insight to our surroundings and wildlife.

They have added USB chargers in each bedside table lamp and there are irons in the laundry room (the were 4 on the ship).
