Recommend coming in a day early and visiting Mt Rainier (need a full day). Excursion available or rent a car (we used Budget by Space Needle. They were great!). Surprised that Saettle is expensive like New York. If you take a late flight out on return, there is an excursion through Carnival to do Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and transport to airport that I'd recommend. If you have a full day to explore Seattle, there is a 5 stop city pass (museums, aquarium, needle, etc) for about $85/person that is a great deal. There is a $5/person roundtrip monorail from Needle to Pike Place area downtown.

We did Best of Skagway tour which was awesome! Train ride, gold panning, Salmon bake and Red Onion tour. Liarsville entertainment on this tour was great! (Note: There is a smaller excursion in Juneau with more authentic gold panning experience if that's what your most interested in.) We also visited the National Park office and saw the video (which taught what we'd learned on the train), so if no time/money for the train, I totally recommend it! Can also book free walking tours during the day with park rangers (but book early as they sell out). And Klondike Doughboy for fry bread is yummy!!

Tracy's King Crab was excellent! We did helicopter ride with dog sledding tour which we loved. The dogs were so excited to run and we got to love on puppies! If you wanted to drink glacier water (which was something suggested we could do), you'd need to take the other glacier tour.

We did the Misty Fjord Flightseeing and it was beautiful! There is a longer (more expensive) flight that includes bear watching at samlon running in River that sounded super cool. We also did walking tour on our own to totum museum (cost was $6/person). There is a super awesome river where we saw salmon running and jumping up water falls called Salmon Ladder. No charge and I recommend it as an item not to be missed! Located on Creek Street.

Didn't book a tour. Walked to Fisherman's Harbor and Inside Harbor. Ate Poutine at a stop on the way back (Canadian appetizer specialty).
