Review summary

When we booked this trip, including a flight on to a glacier and a boat trip, we assumed we'd need several layers o clothing to keep warm. Nope. In Juneau the sun was shining and it was in the mid 60's. he glacier trip was wonderful - great scenery, a entertaining helicopter pilot who know it all, and temperature requiring only a light jacket. Same thing the next day in Skagway on the steam train up to Fraser BC and back. Glacier Bay was more of the same great scenery, the glacier active and calving continuously, and all under clear skies, sun.and temperatures in the high 50's. And to top it off, eagles diving for fish thrown from the boat in Ketchikan.

All told, we had the best weather for our time in Alaska that you could hope for. And as always, the scenery in Alaska is the best. With plenty of wildlife sightings (Whales, seals, otters, deer, eagles, goats and more) we couldn't ask for a better time.

Antonio was one of the most attentive stewards we've had on board any cruise. Always smiling and bring us what we ask for.
