While wasn't without a few issues, we didn't let it stop us from a great time. Our wonderful experience started with Susan Lineberry who took wonderful care of us while helping us book and prepare for this cruise. The staff on board, specifically our wait staff and the cruise director were wonderful and made our experience even better. We visited beautiful places, had some great local tours and made a lifetime of memories.

Overall, this was a fantastic experience. We booked this as a family vacation with seven of us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was our first experience cruising together and a learning experience. However, there was enough to do on the ship that everyone could find something they were interested in and yet enough options for us to spend time as a family. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to take a family vacation.

We used locals for two of our excursions had a blast ..do your research last excursion we did through carnival still had a blast. Remember treat everyone as human beings and be nice and you’ll be treated nicely too. Especially on board ship our waitstaff were magnificent.

Enjoyed the cruise itself, the food was delicious, staff were very accommodating and gracious. The embarkation and disembarkation were not very organized and the bottleneck during disembarkation was nothing short of pandemonium.

This was by far worst food and service I have every experienced on carnival.

Had a wonderful time on this cruise! Loved the ship. It was beautiful. Did not find it hard to navigate. The food was great despite reviews I read prior. Leon made it so much fun.

It was disappointing. We cruise often and this cruise probably our least enjoyable.

We LOVED Horizon and will definitely be sailing with Carnival again soon!! Cozumel was our favorite port (Playa Mia was awesome!). We just went to Bay Beach at Ocho Rios, which was nice and close to the ship, but we got heckled the whole way there by locals to buy things. We loved all of the food on the ship and everything was very clean on-board. There was a great variety of activities for all ages!! The ship was full (it seemed), but nothing was ever too crazy/crowded. I liked the elevator system (very different!) and the easy access to stairs. The cruise director, trivia crew, housekeeping staff, and dining room staff were all absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend this ship!!!!!!!

As first time cruisers this trip was amazing! We are looking forward to booking another one. There was a few hiccups but we got through it and we are now lifetime cruisers.

Had a great time other that made to feel second class at times because I did not have the HUB!

It was a great overall experience. Drinks are crazy expensive. Spent 50 for 6 cans of beer. Maybe allow people to bring a 12 pack on board like you allow 1 case of soda? People spend enough money to go on these trips im sure Carnival has wiggle room on the beverages. As well I paid 40 for Margaritas. One of the cups had lip stick from whoever before me. I ended up with a positive test the day I got back. Atleast for all the money we spend on a drink ensure that clean dishes are being used. A better system to ensure cups are better cleaned. No way lipstick should make it past any cleaning process. I get it high volume but safety is important.

Went downhill after Curacao. Food wasn’t great the whole time. Drink menus are minimal, and every main bar had the same menu. The best food we had all week was the burgers & pasta. I’m probably never taking another Carnival cruise again.

cruise experience was good. people were amazing , except one couple. The food was awful and always cold. I did not like have to wait to get a soda until a bar opened. They have a beer dispensing station why not a soda one as well.

Bottom line suite guest don’t get any perks. Long lines every where and horrible food as well as service. Room is cleaned only once compared to other cruise lines. You wait for ever for elevator. Options in Buffet is less and you might get more options even in a tiny buffet place in any city.

Thank goodness for our room attendant Anak and our bar tender at the lobby bar Rung. IF it were not for these two our experience would have been very disappointing.

Overall it was a good trip. First day was a disaster, but it smoothed out over the week.

It could have been more organized. The staff needs to be more personal.

People attitudes were rude and cutting lines, brawls happened which were the normality….never taking no Carnival cruise line ever again.
