Review summary

Bottom line suite guest don’t get any perks. Long lines every where and horrible food as well as service. Room is cleaned only once compared to other cruise lines. You wait for ever for elevator. Options in Buffet is less and you might get more options even in a tiny buffet place in any city.

Though we booked in suites, the employee at the embarkation line was rude and put us in a long line and not the priority line. Even people who were in the priority line joined the main line as soon as we entered the building. So waste of money booking suites.

Horrible buffet. Extremely limited items even for lunch and dinner. I have been on Ncl and Royal Caribbean but was shocked to see the bad quality and limited food options in carnival. Post pandemic they even stopped the dinner bread basket. Third class service and food

This is the only ship where the room steward keeps knocking on the door every few hours to see if he can come in to clean the room. Won’t let you sleep.

The priority guests are kept in a main restaurant at least an hour before ship is cleared and even after that the line was too long.

Just because you booked a suite, doesn't mean you get any extra perks. You should have done your homework and maybe you wouldn't have been so disappointed. Just FYI, when you are on a ship with 5000 other people- the elevators are crowded.

Carnival has been cleaning rooms once per day for years now. I've been on Royal and ncl and find cruise ship food is the same. On Royal the same burger u pay for in Red Robin is the same free buffet burgers. We're back on Carnival because it's fun, we don't have to make reservations for EVERYTHING and ppl are less up-itty.

If you have been on this site for more than a minute surely you have noticed a continued stream of complaints ooms are only cleaned once a day, food options are not what they use to be, passengers are rude, embarkation lines are long but debarkation is a madhouse. Oh and the "Do not disturd" placard is there for a reason, it helps to hang it outside the door

I don't understand the complaints people have, you don't have to cook, clean, take kids back and forth to school, go to work, or wash clothes. Please explain to me where the complaing comes in at.

New years eve cruise on the Horizon was awesome. Priority walked right on no waiting, food was fantastic, spa is awesome, room Stewart respected the do not disturb for the once a day cleaning like on most cruise lines now (ncl, royal) (how many times a day do you clean your bedroom?), and once guests started to use the elevators correctly they were fine. Enjoy your Celebrity cruise next time.

Just put the do not disturb sign on the door and they won't knock...at least I hope they wouldn't with the sign out. Yes the food has become third class prison slop since the pandemic. I guess this is where they're trying to recoup all the billions they lost. Hopefully enough people complain and they'll go back to decent food offerings again.

All the cruise lines switched to cleaning rooms once per day after Covid.
