carnival glory by jlccastaneda

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Service in the dinning room was excellent. Only on our first 2 nights that our seating arrangement has been terrible. I was separated with our children and the rest of the group. We were put in a table with other 4 people, while our children were in another table.

Western carribean by mztahoe4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

My favorite part of this cruise was the eating. If you are going to go on a cruise be mindful of Hurricane season. My trip was ruin due to that . I didn't enjoy my cruise for the amount of money that was spent I could have went to an all exclusive resort and not worry about the different port changes.

They made the experience even better every night😊. and of course Erik!! The voice from above!! That man goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is having a great time and we sure did!!! Glorius Cruise with Carnival by SharonDJohnso

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The favorite part of the cruise was the shows, and of course the meals.

The improvements I would suggest are rotating what foods are available throughout the night.

I would strongly recommend this cruise line, to the world.

the customer service of your staff is Phenomenal.  They are exceptionally pleasant no matter what time of the day you come in contact with them.  Eric Roaman the cruise director is priceless.  You have an AMAZING STAFF, and they should be commended for their services.

The best out of a redirected cruise. by northside40

Great Cruise line that is family oriented. Unfortunately we were redirected and missed out on two ports (Belize, Honduras) that we were really looking forward to seeing.

The Average Cruise by ronsurin150

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Favorite part was the employees who sought to make the cruise enjoyable such as the room attendants and the waiters. The food was plentiful and excellent. I did not like the change in itinerary for I was looking forward to see some ports that we did not go into due to weather. However, some credits or specials should have been offered for the change that downgraded the vacation plan and expectation.

Unable to go where I paid for and no competition by OJS

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The cruise was very nice. The best part was the kids camp.

However I was very disappointed that the cruise ship didn't go where I paid for six (6) people to go to. I picked this cruise to go to Belize, to see old school friends. And due to the weather we was unable to go. I thank the cruise liner for having our safety in hand.

When i I went to the coustmer service desk the female agent was explaining to me and what I can do once I went back to New York. In the process a male agent came out on to the floor and start to become very nasty with the coustmer, starting " there's nothing the Carnival can do so get off the line if that is way we are here."

This response start to make the passage more angry where as that agent threatened to call security. I found that very  Unappropriate , and poor public relations.

I spent money to fly to Miami to catch this  particular ship, spending more money I could of go straight from NY to go to Bahamas.

I believe that Carnival Glory should reimbursement me the difference of cost to go to the Bahamas, as well as make amends for the inconvenience, that me and my family had to endure.

Be aware that I have chosen to go onto carnival oppose to other cruise line because of the fact of service and being a VIP coustmer over ten (15) years of  patronizing Carnival.

First Time Cruiser by treace95

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I had an excellent experience, everyone on board had great customer service even when they were off the clock and in plain clothes. The food was excellent. I prefer the food in the dining room to the buffet. The process to get on board is a little long, if you can afford the expedited pass do so, or pick the first check in time. The only sad part about this cruise was that we did not go to all of the set destinations, however, there was a hurricane and instead of taking us home we stopped at two alternative ports. If you remember to, take an EXTENSION CORD! There was only one outlet to charge cell phones and tablets.

Disappointed with carnival by jlcc04

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I am very disappointed with carnival on this trip, I went to the reception to talk about the change of itinerary made and the lady on guess Services working at that moment was extremely rude. I understand that the change was needed for our security, however, customers have questions and concerns that need to be listened.

There are many other nicer ways that you can treat customers that are spending a lot of monies and days with carnival and they are expecting the best customer service and care

Very very dispointed.. I can’t believe this from carnival…

Awesome! by ARCAdven

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was my first cruise and it was great.  Everyone of the staff on board whether they were are waiters/waitresses or stewards were extremely friendly.  Very clean ship with plenty to do.  Sadly, due to a hurricane we had to reroute so we had to change out 2 of our ports.  I'll just have to take another to see the 2 ports I missed.Happy

Less than what we expected by artjeep

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Our itinerary was changed due to weather and instead to Belize and Roatan we were taken to Free Port and Nassau. We had already been there and found nothing to do or see.

The one expedition we bought through Carnival was a helicopter ride and the pilot never showed up.

We had booked 3 expeditions through . They accommodated us on the one in Mexico even we went there 2 days in advance and we had a good time.

The food on the boat was sometimes better sometimes ok.

The entertainment on the boat was ok. Nothing for older people.

We had cruised with Carnival before and this was not our best trip with them.

Great time for first cruise by Dbcamilo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

It was our first cruise and I have to say that we enjoyed our time to the max.  The food was great ( lots of varierity) for buffet area as well as the options to dine in one of the restaurants.  I was surprised that they had some many activities around the ship.  As for the stateroom, the AC temperature was not near cool enough for you to sleep comfortable at night (temp above 70s at all times) with the exception of the last day that temp was dropped below 70s.  Our housekeeping crew was the best, always on top our needs. Mario was there in the morning when we left the room and was also available at night when we left our room for late dinner. We enjoyed the most Cayman Island and Cozumel.  The private island for Carnival in Roatan is beautiful but not a lot to do and we chose to stay on board when got to Belize.  Overall our first experience was great and we are looking forward to our next cruise.

BLOWN AWAY!!! by allenbibbee13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our first cruise and will not be our last. We were completely blown away by the service and smiling faces of the Carnival crew. They learn your name and address you as such all week making it a very friendly environment. I can't say enough good things about the staff and even the boat itself. Carnival thinks of everything and my wife and I both agree, it was the best vacation we have ever taken.

We had the best time on our cruise.  We really enjoyed it.  The ship was excellent and the ports of call were amazing.  Our balcony suite was spacious.  We especially enjoyed that the ports of call were back to back.  Amazing!!!! Great itinerary!

What a great trip! by cmlieb89

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I really enjoyed my trip.  It was my boyfriends first cruise and he just loved it.  We are looking forward to more.  I thought the shows were great.  I loved all the food.  There was one time at our first night at dinner that we felt rushed.  The rest of the trip though we had a great waiter.  He knew what we wanted to drink and always made us laugh.  Thank you for a great time Carnival!

Caribbean Adventure by oso8

The cheers program is beneficial. The crew and service on board is phenomenal.

The views from the staterooms are simply breathtaking.Love Club O2 for the 15-17 people is great. It gives parents time to be adults and teenager a chance to meet new people.

Extended Family Summer Vacation/Celebrations by jlmann1987

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The 7 night Eastern Caribbean cruise on Carnival Glory was wonderful; stateroom, dining, and all the staff were very helpful and courteous. Especially deserving of accolades was Dennis, our platinum dinning server - he was very personable, respectful and really seemed to enjoy his job. We celebrated a birthday and anniversary and Dennis was right there with a cake and helped us sing and recognize these people. Also, our wait staff brought many smiles to us with their singing and dancing.

The evening shows were entertaining, though I would have like a few more productions. All in all, a very good trip for an extended family vacation that ranged from kids in preK through college students.

Thank you Carnival Glory staff!
