Don’t go to balomora island in the Bahamas. Talk about price gouging. 5 dollars for bottle of water and 4 dollars for bag of chips you can get at grocery store for 50 cents. Then they wanted 117 dollars for a single picture from our stingray swim which they allowed no one to take own pictures. Carnival should at least advise people to take water or something because you are stuck once over there.

dress cool because the ship is hot and be prepared to wait forever to get a drink and have rude bartenders. Also, prepare for dinners - they are long approx 2 hours long !

Make sure carnival freedom fix that sewer smell on the 2nd floor before you book your trip in your staying on the 2nd floor the stinch hit you soon as you get off the elevators

Download the maps of the ship decks. You will need it as the ship is confusing.

Do a tour of the boat as soon as you can.

Do not be in a hurry to leave the ship when the cruise is over, its a very long process.

The Casino is small and very smoky. Maybe a vent would help with the smoke.

Try out the Seafood Shack and Guy Fieri's Burger Bar! They are REALLY great! Even though the Seafood Shack costs extra (NOT included with your cruise), it was VERY reasonable in price and food was TERRIFIC! We ate there twice, even though it costs a little extra.
