Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
thought the food was all great. loved the seafood shack so good and very reasonably priced.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
this is my 6th cruise and I felt the amount of activities available on sea days was greatly lacking during the day compared to my other cruises. I noticed nearly all trivia was on port days and ran nearly the whole time we were at port. because we wanted to see the different ports we got off the ship so we could not do the trivia. I love doing the trivia or the other games but they had very little of this, like 2-3 throughout the whole day on sea days. everytime I have gone to trivia on the ships they have always been very busy so I think they are very popular so I just don't understand why a majority of them would be put on port days when a large portion of people are not on the ship.
Entertainment

Children's Programs

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
service from our steward was great, Ahmad. he was always very attentive and polite when we saw him in the hallways. we also loved TJ he had so much energy and made everything he did very enjoyable. I would love to do cruise after cruise with him as the CD. TJ was always around and if he saw you take a selfie he would jump right in there with you. he was a blast. one bartender also was very impressionable, Aditya. he was great. within just one day he remembered what both my husband and I drank and what our folio number was so all we had to do was tell him we were ready for another round. I can't believe with as many people as he serves on a ship he was able to remember that. he was also always smiling and even would go out of his way. Jakub at the alchemy bar was also great. I always got the deal closer and he told me that I could personalize it by adding other stuff to it. I had him make me a coconut deal closer and it was the best ever. I made sure to come back every day to get a few of these. Also Kim with the fun squad and as queen of bingland was awesome. I have never played bingo on the ship before and I can't believe what I have been missing. of course I won twice so that helped to make it more fun too, but Kim definitely made the game fun. we liked the whole fun squad we just did not see the other ones much as I think they did more of the trivia when we were off the ship and karoke which we did not do. the adult game with xtreme was a lot of fun though and we have not gone to that before. it was hilarious and again can't believe we have been missing this.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
thought the flow of the ship was very good, plenty of room in the main activity areas like the comedy and the playlist productions. we were always able to find a seat and was not packed in. the ship was very clean always saw people cleaning and keeping the ship well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
size of the room was a little smaller than on the other ships, this is the 3rd time we have had this room number just on different ships. we love being at the front of the ship. our room was always very clean and the bed and pillows are great they are so comfortable, i just wish my bed at home was as good.
Ship tip
have fun, the ship is smaller that some of the newer ones so enjoy the fact that there are less people, lines, etc.
we did the hop on/hop off. it was really good. we got see a few places and enjoyed the commentary about the history of key west. we went to flying monkey to eat and get drinks, wonderful food and the blended white russion was the best thing ever, i wish everyone had these.
we did what we thought was a hop on hop off tour but in reality all it was, was a bus that took us to 2 places with another guide. some people got off at the perfume factory so the guide went with and then the driver took us to the animal place and while we were in there he left to go get the other group and came back. there was no hop on/hop off. was very unorganized and would not recommend this to anyone. good thing was only $20 a person or would have been more upset. very disappointing.
it was a beach not much more to say. the activities tj did on the beach were fun. pretty disappointing though that it is a carnival owned island and in order to get any drinks we had to pay for them and they were relatively expensive. my husband and i each got a frozen pina colada and it comes to $33 after tip and taxes. pretty expensive given we had the cheers program so drinks should be free. probably woudl not get off the ship for this port if went there again.
loved this one. we did the walking tour with Jalicia (not sure of the spelling) but she was great. so informative and always cracking a joke. i could have walked around with her for hours and woudl have enjoyed every minute of it. great tour. lots of history.
went very smooth and was very quick. even the elevators were fast in getting lugguage down to the waiting areas and also to the lobby to get off the ship.
McNabb I hope you look at your date for your cruise. We are leaving on a 14 day cruise on the freedom but we are leaving on the 19th. Make sure you do not miss the ship. Lol.
