Check on the age of the ship before you book. Freedom is older, but the cost is not cheaper. If entertainment is important, book another cruise line.

Carnival Freedom was the worst ship ever. We did not go to Bahamas due to weather so I am unable to comment the ports.

The Playlist production shows are all incredible with high tech effects. We went to every single show they offered. We personally enjoy doing various trivia games and spending time in the casino more than the crowded outdoor poor/water activities.

Keep the daily list of activities with you so you don't miss anything. Deck 5 is the best floor to go from the front to the back of the ship.

Save your money and vacation time; take a more refined cruise line or fly to your destination. Its not the money. The Carnival Hub app was a great way to communicate with others you are with on the ship and have the activity schedule with you. It was only $5 per person for the entire cruise. We didn't waste time trying to find each other and were able to go to more activities!
