Review summary

Just June(comedy) was my favorite part of the cruise. Freedom was the worst ship that I have ever been on. The toilet smelled horrible, it was reported and not repaired. Our room was not clean upon arrival and the attendant was horrible.

Carnival Freedom was the worst ship ever. We did not go to Bahamas due to weather so I am unable to comment the ports.

Your luck was bad. Was on same cruise and had exact opposite experience. And when we broke a cabinet hinge, it was repaired before we got back from dinner.

Sorry to hear that about Freedom. We have had wonderful cruises with her and will go for 3rd time on Freedom mid October. We have had problems before such as shower drain backing up but called maintenance and it was fixed asap. Apparently previous cruisers left a lot of sand in the shower drain. If something happens and it is not fixed, let Guest Services know. They will get someone to correct the problem. Just don't sit back silently. Also you can always contact Carnival once back, to let them know your displeasure.

Agree about the toilet! Upon arriving you could smell the stench similar to that of a porter potty. We reported it and it was followed up on, but not fixed.
