Review summary

I can't rate these ports of call, because the BIG SURPRISE came after we had completed our safety muster. We were back in our cabin relaxing when the captain welcomed us on board his ship. About 3 minutes later he came back on and announced that we would not be sailing to these ports due to the weather between Cuba and Florida, but would instead be going to Cozumel, Jamaica and Grand Cayman. I had just done that itinerary recently, so was a bit disappointed not getting to go somewhere new. But then reality set in that no one was kicking me off the boat or sending me back to work, so I was still on vacation no matter where we were headed. As always, we had a blast and just had to do different excursions than before... Easy enough. Amazingly, I only heard a few whiners complaining about the change, and their complaints were always about missing Key West, not The Bahamas. I found that very strange since you can actually drive to KW if you really wanted to. No matter what the location, if I'm unplugged from the rest of the world, spending time with my absolute favorite person in all the world (my wife) and getting to meet new people, I WILL have a great vacation.

Embarkation

Fairly simple and redundant, if more people would follow directions and have a little patience. You're leaving for an entire week, will another 20 minutes really be life-changing?

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship's overall condition was very good, I prefer ship's like the Magic and the Vista that have more outside deck room, but that's nothing but personal preference.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin size is sufficient but limited on every ship, but having the balcony is always a worthwhile investment. Our steward did a great job of maintaining our cabin and was always helpful in every way.

Is your sail date correct? Why give a review from 3 1/2 years ago?
