Had fun on our cruise with friends. My husband and I went on a couple excursions but mainly stayed on the ship and relaxed. Freedom had spaces for quiet relaxation and places for activities.

It was an older ship but I have no complaints. The port of calls were great. My only issue was I booked our cruise in August!!! It was HOT. But that's the name of the game in the Caribbean.

Wonderful we are booked for the same cruise next year.

Not the cruise I was hoping for with my family. This was a party ship and not very family friendly. My kids had to go to the bar to get a soda. Guest services did not want to help with my room situation and kept sending me to other places for help.

I've been on some great vacations, but some of the people on this ship put this one near the top. I had heard mixed reviews about Canival being a party boat, or too many kids, or a "lower class" cruise line, and honestly went on this trip with my cousin and his family because of everything they had told me about their trip the year before. I'm glad I listened to him and not some of the reviews. Yes, there is drinking and people having a good time, yes, there were a lot of kids, no, it was not a low class cruise line. The ship was big enough that everyone had something to enjoy and everyone on the ship I met was curtious. There are areas to have a good time, there are areas for kids, and there are quiet areas you can get away and just relax still being outside. I met a lot of great people on this cruise from employees to other cruisers. I would recommend Carnival to all of my family and friends

The staff was wonderful and food was great!! Loved the Dominican Republic! I understand why but still disappointed that we didn’t get to go to the ports we initially planned for. Andy is the best!!!

Horrible internet service, paid $75 to have it and couldn't get or keep reception Rip off! Also, not enough help at guest services, the lines were always long. I had to down grade my ratings for the staff, because it increased the overall rating. Very SAD the staff and our room attendants were AMAZING

Overall, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise as we celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary. We had perfect weather and seas the entire trip and we couldn't have asked for more.

We did the 5 Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise to the Dominican Republic and Grand Turks. It was my partner's first cruise and he loved it. He said it was the best vacation he's ever been on. It does rank up there for me as well, so we will be scheduling another trip with Carnival soon.

This was our first cruise, but we were with others who were experienced cruisers. That helped a lot! Overall, we had a great time and look forward to our future cruises!

We were with family with both experienced and new cruisers and it was an amazing experience. There was something to do for all ages and everyone had a great time.

The ship was OK. The Mongolian grill closed too soon. Not having bacon for breakfast daily was insulting. The singles mixer was a flop. Not many activities started on time. Attire rules when wearing swimwear were not enforced.

Overall a relaxing cruise. The crew and staff were friendly, informative and outstanding in service. Being a smaller ship, restricted movement and areas to walk. If the evening meal was much better, I could have considered rating the Freedom with 5 stars. The evening meal (dinner) in the main dining room must be improved.

It was a major letdown. There wasn't much to do on board, the food was bad, they penny and dimed us, added on $80 per person at the end of the cruise in gratuities, and wouldn't compensate us any when they gave my husband food poisoning, which caused us to miss a day going out to Nassau, the first island we stopped at. So much for a relaxing and enjoyable honeymoon!

Had a fun experience, but it's not like it used to be pre-pandemic. Felt like staff was stretched too thin to provide the quality of service as before. Meals in dining room were small portions, lower quality food items. Never felt pampered or special during cruise.

This was a birthday cruise. We did not alert anyone to that fact but somehow the staff knew and made sure to make it special. It is that attention to detail that we love.

I enjoyed the entire time on the ship getting around with my wheelchair was good. Staff was helpful shopping was fun on board. Casino was fun too and the music entertainment was awesome

Very fun and entertaining. I danced a lot. Haven’t done that in awhile. Great shows and Gabe was fun and full of energy.

This cruise was just what the doctor ordered for a vacation. The wife and I had an excellent time and can't wait till our next cruise. We enjoyed the ship, the activities, the food and the port stops. It was a great way to relax and take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We look forward to our next cruise!
