The scenery was beautiful!!!  The crew went out of their way to give us a wonderful vacation.

did not follow through in giving us each $75 onboard credit.

The people in Belize were so friendly and welcoming, loved the food and cave tubing. In Mohogany Bay the Ziplining was awesome and so was the snorkeling. Yes, I would do it again!  Shopping in Cozumel was much better than the other places visited. 

Great ship, great service, great food.....wonderful 7 days. Ours cabin steward, Faruk was great and the wait staff at the Posh restaurant was fabulous. The food was very good and Leight did a nice job as the cruise director...funny and entertaining. The entertainment was better than expected...great shows. Loved it and we will be coming back.

A lost piece of luggage made for an anxious first day and a misplaced bone in some scrambled eggs resulting in a broken molar made for a depressing second day. Ports of call were mostly disappointing and excursions were unremarkable and poorly organized. The only bright spot was Nassau which has beautiful clear water and beaches; however, the excursions I booked there were poorly structured and managed. If I had the benefit of foresight I would have booked a room at Atlantis and stayed in Nassau the entire time.

Swimming with the dolphins was my favorite thing.  The ship is old and not that nice.  The shops were lacking and the casino seemed small.  The crew was great.

Negatives:  Room was dirty.  Should have stayed an extra night in Nassau, one day was definitely not enough time.  Lack of coordination with shipboard activities.  The only evening shows were Comics.   What happened to the Magic Shows?  The Musicals?  The Plays?  Excursions are way overpriced, do yourself a favor and pick up a taxi.

Positive:  Formal Dining was excellent in both food and services.  They even had the service staff doing a little show after dinner!  Nice to have the movie nights which included popcorn.  Love the adult area!

 I enjoyed the cruise for the most part. My favorite part was that I could do what I wanted. I think the drinks are overpriced and so is the spa..I probably would recommend this cruise but warn them of the prices on drinks, spa, and pictures. Also the swimming pools were always crowded.

There are better choices for the money but Galveston is a convenient drive for us in Texas. Excursions were fun and well handled. Grand kids had a great time on their first cruise.

As always, the service was excellent.  I recommend purchasing the 'Faster to the Fun' add-on to get you on board faster, along with other perks!

We also really enjoyed the Chef's Table ($75 each, but well worth it).

We also went on two Carnival Excursions: Grand Cayman - Catamaran to Sting Ray City, and then in Cozumel - Mystic River and snorkeling.  Both worth every penny.

I can't wait to cruise with Carnival again!

It was our best cruise ever. Why? Because we took our whole family. Other than that, perfect. Of course the food, as always, was exceptional. Our room & room service was great. No problems. The shows were just so, so. However, with that said, I realize Carnival is geared towards families and not the top of the line shows.

Favorite:  The different ports & the different shows on board!

Improvement:  The excessive picture taking by the ships photographers was annoying!

Recommendations:  Book your excursion through the ship because if you are late they (the ship)  will wait!

I would and have recommended this cruise to everyone I have talked to. There were so many things to do and so much fun to have. The cruise staff treated us like royalty and the ports were exciting excursions. 

Everyone had fun, none of us had been to Jamaica, Grand Cayman or Cozumel before and they did not disappoint.  We were very glad that we set aside one excursion day to just chill on the beach and enjoy it, instead of running around in a bus all day.  Water was great, snorkeling was a blast.  It is of course hot and sticky this time of year so water related excursions worked great.  Booked excursions from Cruise 41,  Resort for a Day and Carnival.  All were nice, but the Carnival had the longest line and the most time spent waiting and not seeing things.   

This was my first cruise and I didn't know what to expect. I will tell you that I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the entire trip was. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful. They really work hard to make sure the ship is in tip top shape and everything runs like a well oiled machine.  I'm wondering when anyone sleeps! Our porter and wait staff were marvelous too! The excursions were well organized and awesome as well. I had an incredible time on the Carnival Freedom and will definitely sail again! My daughter and I will have such wonderful memories of her senior cruise! 

This was one of the best vacations my family and I have had hands down. We had never taken a cruise before and were a little leery at first about it but that went away by the first day. The crew were very pleasant and always going the extra mile to make it memorable. Our accommodations and food were outstanding not to mention all the activities that went on during our trip. We were entertained the entire time. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to just relax and to get away from the normal grind on most vacations.

The service was horrible compared to what I encountered last year.. 

The utensils were not clean. Food is bland even in buffet line.. The fine dining experience was horrible, they did not provide food on time or if brought the food such as potatoes.. no condiments with it sour cream, cheese etc.. Had to ask for bread , drink etc.. Not at all the best of service.. Even with checking out to leave boat the sign to sail card was not registered that i already paid balance and delayed my exiting for over 30 mins. Was waiting in line then told "they sorry that the kiyos was not updated to system....

I do not plan to use carnival again it is not worth the service, low price is not worth it...  I will use another cruise Royal , disney .HORRIBLE SERVICE

Service desk is to close to the band. Josh worked on deck ten from Peru was so nice and helpful to me. The waiters  and food was the greatest. Dinning with them was treat in it self. I don't do well with names but I think they were Denzel and Bospomp they never forgot mine though.

The staff on this ship was incredible! I appreciated them calling us by first names, that was so impressionable! I have to say, Francisco at the fine dining (Chic restaurant) was our all time favorite of all! What great memories we made and HAD a BLAST!!!

We had an adult trip planned for three couples.  We all had a great time.  The lunch buffet was a little lackluster in my opinion, but the dinner and breakfast options were great.  

We would probably do this itinerary/ship again, but would choose our shore excursions differently. Roatan was great for beach time and really no need for any excursion if you like the beach.  Belize City was awful, in spite of the fact that we enjoyed our excursion.  If we go back, we'll stay on the ship or take an excursion to one of the cayes/keys.   We have been to Cozumel plenty of times, so we chose to wander around and lunch on our own before heading back to enjoy the vacated ship.

The staff was wonderful throughout the trip with only minor exceptions. A word of caution - if you chose to take a bottle of wine (eligible 1 sealed bottle per adult) or small canned non-alcoholic drinks, you must carry them with you to check in on the boat!  It's clearly noted in the documentation, but somehow two of the three couples missed that little detail (me included).  Also, you can have continental breakfast in your room every morning at no charge, which includes coffee!!  This was a fantastic surprise for us and we took advantage of it every single day.

Lastly, the Faster to the Fun is a minimal change and made the disembarkation process SO MUCH BETTER.  The other two couples in our group did not use it and we were off the ship hours before they were.  FTTF didn't come in helpful anywhere else except for the check-in, but I'd still grab it again if it's available due to the nominal fee.

Great ship with excellent crew.  We really enjoyed ourselves. Would recommend this cruise to anyone. Mahogany Bay was our favorite stop with Cozumel coming in a close second. Shopping was best at Cozumel.  We really loved our excursion at Mohagony Bay.  We went to Little French Key and would recommend it highly to anyone going there.  Belize was our least favorite port due having to be tendered to the shore and the shopping was limited. Over all the cruise was great.
