All in all it was a good time. However disappointed in the food...had better on past cruises. Entertainment shows on stage were GREAT!!!!!!!!!

I saw one comedian, I was not impressed.

Great food. Good drinks. Loved our room Stewart Raymond!!!!!! Comedy show rocked .....only wish debarkation was a little later😟 Need a few more waiters on the decks

This cruise had a good mix of children and young adult activities. Older adults would have to be content with the cruising/relaxation aspect of the experience. 

The Elation is a very tired and outdated vessel. It seems that the stabilizers,  shafts, or propellers were out of balance or damaged due to the amount vibrations through out the vessel. Making many people on board sick. The food and service for dinner was horrible, After having dinner arrangements to be seated with all of the family our seating was changed at check-in of course this started a string of problems while on the cruise with the dinning staff.   

although this is one of the older ships it is my 2nd time on the elation.  There was something to do all day. the ship was very clean and the entire staff was excellent. The deli area was ok but the buffet hot bar food was only so so.  I wish they would bring back steak and lobster night and escargot. Tons of excursions for any fitness level. I'm sorry Carnival will stop using this ship over the summer.  This is about my 9th cruise and in twelve more sailing days I will be at platinum status.  In Progresso the weather got bad and we stayed in port an extra 9 or so hours.  I am so grateful the captain stayed, and he spent the next sea day making sure we got back to New Orleans right on time!  I've already planned my next cruise with Carnival. 

Great cruise, leaving from and returning to New Orleans was easy, the only complaint we had was the cabin needed some TLC repairs,  Drinks, food, entertainment all were great,  not a well financed art lover, skip this auction,

our room was cold every night. Had to have extra blankets. They said they couldn't do anything about it as long as it didn't get colder than 69. they said when they checked are room it wasn't any colder than that but as the night went on it got colder and colder. We complained 3 times but didn't do any good. It seemed like all the wanted to do is sell us stuff. Just to play bingo it cost $20. Our room was very run down it reminded me of a 2 star hotel. The closet door stuck and paint missing off of door, bath tiles looked dirty The day we got ready to leave we went to weight our suitcases with a new scale I bought I noticed it has a thermometer on it so we check the temp. it was way lower than 69 degrees.it was 65.2 and that is after the sun had shown through the window for a couple of hours. I have attached a picture of it. Also we was to get a $25 credit for the boat but we didn't

Food was good, staff were friendly, ship was clean. I didn't like that you were automatically charged 18 % gratuity every time you ordered a drink or something from the spa. Deco outdated and the rooms only had one outlet.  Comedy was bad. Needed more shows and less expos.

U63 - Great Cabin Location

Food - Below Average

Evening Waiter Service - Below Average except for Jay

Cabin Steward - Ysofin - Very Friendly

Cabin Condition - Lots of dust in the cabin and lots of hair in the bathroom

Entertainment - Great (The "U Turn Band" was terrific!)

Will I Cruise on Carnival Again - Undecided

Food could have been better.  The Love match entertainment program was really inappropriate.  I don't want to hear  about someone's sexual talk.  The excursion to Progression luncheon was not very good.

The coral reef at Cozumel is dead!!  You should stop all the excursions that claim to let you experience the beautiful reefs.

late in to port from week before, annoyed rude crew... Night three before my party of six was able to sit together at dinner.... Mediocre food and lousy service!

Great cruise. The ship is older, but very well maintained.  Wish the staterooms would go to flat-screen TV and eliminate the big life preserver storage box in the corner of the room. The crew on the ship was great.  We bought the FTTF for this cruise and it was worth every penny. When we arrived at the port we passed the main lines then went through security, and then we had another line that bypassed all of the long check-in lines.  When we got onboard our room was ready and all of our luggage was there within 15mins of boarding.

As always, cruising was such a blast. The staff just AMAZES me every time. The only reason I can't give a 5 is because on day three, we hit a cold front head on and the boat was rocking like i never imagined. The captain was calm and comforting, very informative and apologizing over and over. Of course, he has no control over the weather, but a fair warning to those who have or have not cruised before...it was a MISERABLE day of seasickness for me.

The room didn't like the pic. Too many foreign workers who could barely speak English. The suite wasn't worth the money.The staff was friendly and top of things.

The experience was GREAT!! The buffet was great as well as the service we received! Some of the food in the dining was not properly cooked and made us somewhat sick.

The cruise was a great time, we enjoyed it a lot.  But, having been on a few Disney Cruises the difference is extremely apparent.  The ship was dated and it is obvious they have just been doing maintenance on it for years.  It was very clean, but this ship is in need of a major overhaul and update in every aspect.  

It was nice to have nightly entertainment, but the shows were kind of a joke.  The performers were not very good and the shows had no point really.  The were themed, but it was just a half hour of people singing popular songs.  

The staff is extremely friendly and we got to talk to many of them.  They are very attentive to your needs and the food was good as well.  

This was my first cruise with Carnival but not my first cruise.  Never a bad day when you are on a cruise, but I would rate it the lowest of the 7 I have been on prior.   Our room steward was exceptional as expected.  Our stateroom was aged and it showed (a jr suite).   A few of the bar staff were unfriendly to outright rude.  We always say please and thank you to the staff and we don't get stupid, and I know it must be trying for them with some of the patrons, I would expect them to appreciate the ones that are polite.  The food was good but not exceptional.  All in all had a great time but again not a standout.  

Our 5 day cruise was a bit disappointing. We picked it because of the timing. Check in was actually better than we expected, but as soon as we were on board it seemed like every which way we turned, Carnival had their hands out for more money and it distracted from our vacation.

The service was great, the food was basic, entertainment was good, afraid the service staff is overworked, debarkation went well, disappointed with meeting the crew, and probably won't go on a cruise for a good while or at least not with Carnival.

The ship was beautifully decorated for the holidays. And that is that. Thanks for asking! Feedback is a gift.

Overall experience is good.  Need to have more programs for kids.  It would be nice to have more rest rooms in the common areas.  Photos need to be digitized. Also the wi-fi app didnt work on the ship (elation).  

Carnival do not keep digital prints of photos taken on the cruise ship to give customers a chance to buy it later or there is no kiosk where we can go check out all the snaps together. Biggest drawback. 

Service was good. Food was good. Enjoyed cruise.
