Dissapointment

Sail Date: February 06, 2016

Reviewed: 9 months ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

The Elation is a very tired and outdated vessel. It seems that the stabilizers,  shafts, or propellers were out of balance or damaged due to the amount vibrations through out the vessel. Making many people on board sick. The food and service for dinner was horrible, After having dinner arrangements to be seated with all of the family our seating was changed at check-in of course this started a string of problems while on the cruise with the dinning staff.

Cabin / Stateroom
Clean, nice size. But outdated ! And no provisions for making coffee or hot tea in the cabin.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Ship Quality
The cabins while clean were out dated looks like they are from the 70's. The vessel had a very bad vibration, The seas were not bad for the amount of roll and vibrations (stabilizers seem not to be working correctly. )
Destinations and Excursions
Onboard Activities
Children's Programs
Entertainment
Service and Staff The house cleaning staff was great ! the Casino staff was outstanding.
Food and Dining
Horrible, the food was like eating old freezer burnt left overs. After being seated for dinner we would not see the waiter for 8-10min then we will place our drink request (another 10min) then the waiter will come back to get our meal order and we will not see the waiter again until our meal was brought to our table and the meals were cold and very bland.

Tip

If the vessel is older than five years old find another cruise liner.
