The only downfall was when we arrived on the ship and all of the food stations were closed down. We were starving, once the food stations were open there was a rush of ppl. Besides the first day of trying to get something to eat, everything else was fine.

This ship was extremely disappointing and the food was weak. The cruise nickels and dimes you like crazy. I couldn’t purchase the alcohol package since not everyone in the room wanted it. I thought this was unfair. No free drink for my friend’s bday from any bar and she’s cruised 8 Times with Carnival!

I don't have enough words to praise Carnival. Officers, Staff and Crew go above and beyond to make everyone comfortable and a cruise to remember.

Disappointed in the hot tubs that were cold the entire cruise. I feel that the ship was overbooked, to many people. Overall is a great ship for the price. Enjoyed the shows and staff.

It was an awesome experience for my family and I, we are already wanting to plan the next cruise vacation. It was one of the best times of my life, and my family feels the same. I pray it is one of many more!!

I will definitely be booking another cruise in the future

Won't cruise Carnival again. This is the worst cruise I've ever been on, hands down.

Our cruise was well needed! Glad my family and I experienced our first cruise together! Adored the shows, the friendly staff, and the FOOD! Thank you Carnival Dream for making our cruising dreams come true!

the cruise was ok until someone took my husband card and charged drinks. we talk to customer service and they stated they fixed it but i had severalcharges when clearly the waiter should have seen that it wasnt us on the picture that was charging the drinks. i thought that was the purpose of the photo

Everything was great the gentleman was so nice going and coming from our cabin. He remember our names. Thought that was amazing. The cabin stayed nice and clean

The trip was great. The staff deserves every penny of the tip money. Just don't leave passengers deaf.

Fun 5-day trip. P.S. Galveston is a SMALL port, so BEWARE the luggage staff and ever-present Texas ABC enforcement means they PROBABLY WILL find that bottle you normally get to sneak on in luggage thru other ports like Miami or Ft, Lauderdale. Lost a $50 bottle of Patron personally :(

I'd say it is a stretch to give the cruise 3 stars overall, as much of our time was spent either waiting in line for an activity or an elevator. We both wished we had forgone the activities offered and lounged around the deck instead. So-called activities were mostly centered around getting us to spend money on something, such as "art" in a high pressure action. I wonder how many purchased those expensive posters thinking they were genuine art? "Giclee on paper" is not an art media, it is a method of inkjet printing. The food was only "on" about 50% of the time. Lines were long in the buffet. In "fine dining" we had flavorless food, or strong-smelling seafood served to us. Service was good there, though. Breakfast was pretty good other than the greasy "puck" hash-browns and un-toasted toast. The coffee was good except for the last day, on which it somehow became very watery. Guy's barbecue was disappointing in its lack of flavor. The burger was a bit better. If I was served food like I received on this cruise at a local restaurant, I would not return there. Ports of call were nice, especially the excursion to Uxmal Mayan ruins. I highly recommend it. We booked through Carnival because of the length of the excursion and distance away from the port. We wanted that guarantee that the ship would wait for us. It only cost a few dollars more than 3rd party companies were offering. It was reported that someone in Cozumel had their purse picked for over $1000 loss, plus several credit cards. A good reminder to use your in-cabin safe. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but all-in-all it this cruise leaves me doubtful that I would want to venture another. I will do further research on cruise companies and destinations to decide.

Great cruise overall. We enjoyed it. Not much to complain about really.

Your food is the worst. Your crew is the best. Fix the food and it would have been a much better experience. Never sailing with carnival again.

Everything was good for being my first trip. Didn't like didn't like the children that were staying across from my room they were too loud parents didn't didn't pay attention to them.

Average vacation with average food and a somewhat less than stellar stop in Progreso.

My fourth cruise alone - I loved the Carnival Dream and would absolutely sail on it again.

The staff was amazing!! Especially Christian from the Crimson Dinning room Alam from the Scarlet Room for our breakfast Earimark or Earumark for my wheelchair assistance during disemarkation.
