This ship was extremely disappointing and the food was weak. The cruise nickels and dimes you like crazy. I couldn’t purchase the alcohol package since not everyone in the room wanted it. I thought this was unfair. No free drink for my friend’s bday from any bar and she’s cruised 8 Times with Carnival!

We benefited from having a relatively handicapped person who can’t walk long distances with us- went through quickly

Food and Dining

The main dining room’s food never rose above mediocre and hovered at disappointing most of the time. Cold, unseasoned, mushy crab cakes, undercooked lava cake, dry salmon, bleh! Best: guy’s hamburger joint, and pizza. Best but for added bucks: the Seafood Shack and the Sushi place.

Karaoke was fun but times moved around too much. Never got to the putt putt. Cooking demo - too hot in room snd the show was ridiculous. Amateur host - and the tasting was horrible!!! Bingo was too costly for merely three games. Dance party on lifo deck was good. Why does Ent Dir Gary walk around like CP3O?
Entertainment

The piano lounge was fun but I felt the piano player was bored and done with it all. The stage shows were very well done, but the Flicks character creeped us out.

Waiters at the red frog were great; dining room waitstaff was excellent.
Ship Quality

The wait for an elevator was ridiculous! The ship smelled of mold and gas. This ship is in dire need of a remodel or sinking!
Cabin / Stateroom

The decor was silly and dated. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom terribly outdated. Our guy was terrific. Shower strength was good. Windows seemed dirty.
We’ve been on the Dream 4 times and it was always GREAT! I was sad to see it leave Canaveral, then we went on the Magic twice and it also was great. This time the Breeze and we can’t wait!
Carnival Rocks!!
Woooow! I have no problem with pple posting their truth about the their experience but this was different. I don’t feel like this post was a reflection of the cruise ship or cruise line. As previously stated in older responses to your post , cruising may not be for you. Your post came off as a negative rant from someone with a bad attitude.
The ship would like to have all passengers off as soon as possible. Unfortunately, custom agents dictate the rate we get to leave the ship. Sorry you didn’t enjoy your cruise. There hasn’t been a free drink for a birthday since we started cruising in 1998, don’t know why that surprised you. The fact you couldn’t get the drink package, is the fault of your fellow cabin mates, it has been the rule since the program began.
Maybe cruising is no longer for you. Or perhaps there is another cruise line that fits your expectations.
Cruise lines seem to sell their cruises cheaper without frills and make it up from upsells. Everyone buys a drink pkg in the room so it wont be shared. Only exception I know is Princess
noted your comments re salmon. Its farm salmon and feed chemicals and mushy
Best are wild and usually only available in specialty places.
