My fourth cruise alone - I loved the Carnival Dream and would absolutely sail on it again.

Food and Dining

Food was fantastic & drinks were great - strong. I had not had the BBQ restaurant onboard before and it was fantastic. Guy's burgers were amazing as always.
Onboard Activities

Unfortunately, for half of our first sea day and the entire second sea day, the outdoor activities on higher levels (Slide, putt putt, etc) were roped off due to wind. This is out of the ship's control but I wish they would have docked farther out away from the wind to give us a day in the sun!
Entertainment

Ben the piano man was great. Milan the comedy host did a great job and Gary the cruise director was hysterical. The Halloween costume contest and party were my favorite parts. Well done.
The latin club was very lively and fun as well. The late night DJ could have played some different music to engage people a bit more.

Service and Staff

Putra in Any Time Dining (Crimson) was my favorite - he took the time to stop and get to know me which I appreciated since I was alone.
My room steward was nice but I wasn't as impressed with my room cleanliness as usual. I had to wipe down surfaces when I arrived and my room went un cleaned the final sea day (I had spent the morning in the room but was out by 12 PM).

Loved the added lounge between the casino and back areas. Lots of pods in the adults only area which was very nice. Lots of hot tubs & other nice seating areas as well. Loved it all.
Cabin / Stateroom

My cabin was large for an interior! It was the perfect size. When I arrived I noticed surfaces weren't quite as clean as I'd like so I had to wipe them down with a towel which came away dirty. The bed was made into a king and also tended to split down the middle (two twins pushed together) which I haven't noticed before.
I was not thrilled with the initial excursion offerings so decided I would just visit the free beach next to where the shuttle drops you off. However, I could not find the beach and was uncomfortable walking around alone so I ended up taking an excursion booked through the shuttle driver company to a hotel that had a pool, all inclusive food & drinks and private beach. The beach chairs were wooden but they had these plastic sand loungers that weren't too bad. But for $50 it was great for 3 hours - food was good.
