Fun in the Sun! by michelle7tk

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

My favorite part of the cruise was the water, more of a scenic person so I enjoyed the view. The shades of the oceans we're mesmerizing, and breath taking. Getting off at the different ports is a must, and learning about them taking a tour of the islands is a must! I would recommend this cruise for to anyone who would like to relax also if your interested in culture. Already looking for the next cruise! See ya there....Wink

They had everything properly explained  with all your available options. They made it stress free and worry free especially if you were on a tight budget. Always book your excursions early as they sale out quickly

Resting from my 8:30 to 5:00 by Cruiser12256040

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

i really enjoyed the cruise, I just wish you could stay a little longer and not have to rush back to the ship. I would recommend this cruise. The only thing we didn't like was trying to find our ride back. KSA we were disappointed with them. We did the cruise and snooz paid for the service but had a hard time getting a ride back to the hotel. We enjoyed the trip going just trying to get a ride back to the hotel was the problem.

Relaxation by tmcjunkin

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The cabin service was excellent.  The waitstaff was excellent, we had the same staff every night for dinner.  They remembered what my husband liked and disliked, which was very good.  It was my husbands first time and he really enjoyed it. It was our 1 year anniversary and their really wasn't any fanfare other than the fact it was also his birthday.  He received 3 gift cards which was really nice.  We got a bottle of wine, our picture was free and a nice discount on a massage. The Spa manager was really nice since the gift card had expired the day before, she still honored it.  I wasn't happy that they couldn't pull me up from my cruise in 2008, so I missed out on some discounts from that.  My favorite place is the fun shops where I can get  silver or gold by the inch, I love it. Happy

The ports this cruise went to were amazing The water in Grand Turk was the bluest I have ever seen. The food on the conquest could have been better.

The staff was great. My balcony was awesome. The entertainment was superb!Happy

Good by fenhen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)

Overall cruise was ok.  However I believe that I'm paying more for less.  Since the elimination of the midnight buffets (all lines), if one is up late at night DECENT

food is not available, and now there is a charge for room service.  While it is not much, it was free before.  Pizza/and junk food is not what I want at 2:00AM and the ships phone still advertises re: midnight buffet.  I would like something nice/palatable and healthy at 2:00AM

Islands in the sun. by bametivier

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

The various activities on the ship were well organized. The excursions were informative and fun filled. The prices of photos should be more reasonable especially for large families, groups and friends.

Carnival Conquest review by amurphy37762715

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We were very disappointed with the ship, staff and the excursions.  The ship is old and outdated.  Staff was not very attentive.  We booked 2 excursions and both were cancelled. Due to noise (loud music) we moved cabins.  They put the notifications in the wrong room so by the time we found out it was to late to book other excursion.  We have been on several Carnival cruises and always had a great experience.  This one was very disappointing.

Below Expectations by Jeep

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Of the many Carnival ships I have cruised on, this trip was the most disappointing. The noise levels were very high In the passageways, cabin, and showroom.  The photo booths and jewelry displays blocked passageways to the point you had to find an alternate route.  The food in the Dining Room was below the standards I experienced on other Carnival ships, and the Lido buffets were crowded and understaffed.  Some staff members in that area were so busy that they were not able to help.  Cabin was nice and room stewards were good, but kids playing in the hall outside my cabin were so loud and misbehaving they actually knocked part of the ceiling down and blocked the passageway.  All in all, not my best cruise.

Fabulous by tj0416

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

My family and I had a wonderful time on the Carnival Conquest cruise to Amber Cove, Dominican Rebublic, St Thomas, Virgin Islands, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Grand Turks and Caicos. All the Carnival staff was very nice and courteous and we enjoyed each one of them especially our waiters each night at dinner. Christian, Paul and Iwan. All 3 of them always greeted us by name with a smile and served us as if we were the only couple in the dining room. One night they even surprised us with a Happy Anniversary dessert and got everyone's attention and sang a song for us. We really felt special! :-) The service they provided was outstanding and we would definitely go on another or refer others to go on a carnival cruise!

Severely disappointed by camillecook14

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

After being on a few Carnival cruises I know how great they can be, but this one didn't live up to  past experiences. The only thing I did like was the camp because the workers were very nice and made sure my daughter enjoyed herself. As far as everything else is concerned this cruise made me feel like it was time to try other cruise lines.Angry

My favorite part of the cruise was the atv tour in the Dominican Republic but I think we left too early and we didn't get a chance to look around or buy anything.

WinkOverall we had a great time despite almost missing the ship and being without our luggage for 3 days- due to airline delay. Entertainment was interesting fun and informative. However I was not impressed by the food I had 3 days that I can say the food was very good .

Family Celebration by madames26

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The overall cruise experience was great. My family enjoy themselves. Our waiters were excellent!!!! Absolutely amazing, thank you team. Our stateroom attendants,I only seen twice. The ship was kind of old, water dripping from ceiling, floor in front of elevators in floor 7 felt like a dent when you step on it.

Worse crise ever by khabirahroberts

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I will never cruise with carnival again. I have been on plenty of cruises and this was by far the worse cruise ever.Angry Between the ceilings dripping,  in cabin refrigerator not working, the air conditioning in the room not working , air Conditioning on the boat not working,  nasty attitudes of staff members, terrible variety of food and limited amounts of food and food sections open, availability of staff in pool areas...  just to name a few... and I'm a gold member... so it's safe to say, I've been on a few... never again... with carnival. This Carnival Conquest is terrible. I also got married 2 years ago on the Carnival Valor and that ship is awful too.

Good Cruise by aminime117

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Conquest / Destination: Caribbean - Western

My wife and I celebrated our up and coming 20th anniversary and we enjoyed the cruise overall. The food was fresh especially the fruit which we love to eat. It had something for everybody including those with children, (our children are adults now but we believe they would have enjoyed the activities). The comedians were funny and offered PG and adult shows. We like how NCL offers packages that cover the whole cruise for one price as opposed to a daily fee per day (x) the length of the cruise i.e. A spa package vs a spa day or a meal package as opposed to a one night specialty restaurant, but The Point Steak house was good. We did not care for the particular performers that were highlighted stage show but they were ok...Jamaica and the Cayman island were nice, the staff was friendly for the most part and the Guy burger place was one of the highlights of our just treat yourself moments :)
