Review summary

After being on a few Carnival cruises I know how great they can be, but this one didn't live up to past experiences. The only thing I did like was the camp because the workers were very nice and made sure my daughter enjoyed herself. As far as everything else is concerned this cruise made me feel like it was time to try other cruise lines.

Well said Emily, just ignore the haters, there are lots of people on here who are very helpful and give great advice without having to bash others opinions. I hope you have a wonderful cruise and have heaps of fun.

Emily-I was on the Conquest in April for the first time. I admit some of the tile floor needed replaced and a few other things also but our room was spotless, bed comfy, our cabin steward was the best ever. The food and service was very good. The shows were good too. We met new friends, saw beautiful places and relaxed and had a blast. We liked it so much were booked for next April!

The same even if it is something negative, i do believe that your cruise is what you make it, but people pay a lot of money to go on these myself included have paid in the 1000's to go on one in October and I expect to get what I'm paying for and if it don't go good then it's my right to let people know so maybe it won't happen to them

I can see why! My first cruise is in a few weeks so I've been checking ship mate hoping too see what others have thought but instead of getting honest reviews and opinions about the ship/experience all I see is people arguing over things that don't concern them, what's the point of coming in here to bash others reviews, if you had a good cruise great and post your good comments, and let others do

Just because their profile says only one cruise doesn't mean they've not been on more? Maybe they didn't have time to put the others in yet? why can't people post their honest opinions about THEIR cruise without getting bashed?! I understand that there are many carnival loyalist who have had a great time and that's good, but that doesn't mean that every carnival cruise has been good for everyone

They are currently replacing the carpet on the Conquest. It's random and I have no idea how they decide. Only 1 of our 6 cabins were done while we were aboard.

Details?? I agree when people say the Conquest is in serious need of a gutting and refurb. But we've been on twice, as recent as this past April. Still had a great time.
