My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time on this cruise. Very relaxing, lots of things to do. One thing I must say is the cruise director and staff were great. We saw a comedy show at the punchliner on the ship. Macio was his name and he was super funny. I would recommend this cruise and my boyfriend and I plan on cruising on this ship next year. o..we sailed to Grand Turks, Jamaica (which was beautiful) and the Bahamas. See you next year Carnival Breeze!!

The reason I am giving this cruise a 3 star rating is because the Carnival Breeze ship's overall design is poor. The Lido deck is horrible! You have to wait in long lines to get your food! They have a Barbeque Place on deck 5 which is opened during sea days, but the line was so long we skipped it. Our stateroom was located on the 7th deck mid ship and we could hear the people above us walking and the people beside us talking in their room and having pillow fights etc...In the adult only section "Serenity" which is located on the 14th floor has no adult pool and is located right by the slides. There are not enough seats available either. There are only 2 pools on the boat and both are small. At one tine we counted 60 people in there! You could not find a chair to sit in by the pool. We ended up staying on deck 5 because there was a hot tub and plenty of seats and not as crowded. The positive side of things is the service was excellent in the dining room and in housekeeping! Our family loved the ports of call and we enjoyed our time together. Overall, the value for a family of 6 is unbeatable.

It's been years since we've booked a Carnival cruise since we've been enjoying perks given to us on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. What a delight to board this beautiful ship and to thoroughly enjoy every minute of the cruise. We would take this cruise again in a heartbeat. The decor was calmer than some of the older Carnival ships on which we've sailed, yet still attractive with beachy murals on the hallway walls. We especially enjoyed the Redfrog Pub,Guy's Burger Joint, the C-Side Barbeque, and the casino. Unlike our recent experiences on Royal Caribbean ships, we had no difficulty finding a table at the Lido deck buffet at any time. Room service was available and on time even on the morning of debarkation. Service in the Blush restaurant was friendly and the food better than expected both there and at other venues, including the buffet.

I loved the cruise, the food was wonderful and the crew could not have been better. There were a couple of things that I have comments about. The shows were not as good as other Carnival Ships that I have been on. I was not the only person who expressed disappointment with the shows. I overheard another lady express that same thing. The other item concerned the shopping. The Fun Finds book that I spent $25.00 on was a rip-off. The items I collected from the free items mentioned in the book could have been purchased at a dollar store. This was not the way it was presented by the gentlemen selling the coupon book. Also most the free items in the book, were free without the coupon. And the discounted items could be purchased at the same price without the Fun Finds booklet. Thank you.

I found that the departure procedures were much easier than some prior times. Very little waiting in line at port. The ship was well maintained, clean, and most of the staff was very helpful. The itinerary was a nice balance of stops, balanced with shopping, sight-seeing, and activities. The first night of Dining we had service that was so bad that the next day I requested a table change. Our glasses were never refilled, were not offered seconds on rolls or bread, waited a long time between courses, and had to wait over 20 minutes for sour cream to be brought for the baked potato. Not often do I complain, but it was terrible the first night experience. Our service at the second table was much better. Our room service was great, the room,(a balcony) was comfortable and as expected. The shows were innovative and entertaining. We had a good time, but it is hard to forget poor service when it happens on the first night.

We really enjoyed this cruise. I thought 8 days seemed like a lot but they were gone before we knew it. Our favorite port was St. Martin. The beach and ocean were the prettiest that we have seen anywhere. We really enjoyed our tour around the island getting to see both the French and Dutch side. Service was great on the boat. Our housekeeping staff was excellent. They were very friendly and cleaned our room twice a day, replacing the towels, turning down the bed, and cleaning the bathroom. My daughter really enjoyed going back to the room after dinner each night to see what towel animal was on the bed. She also really enjoyed the big slides. The pool was really too crowed most of the time to swim. There was a large variety of food to try each day. Our servers at dinner were prompt and very friendly. We have been on several cruises, and this is our favorite so far. Makes us want to go again.

My 8 day S Carribean cruise on the carnival Dream was truly an unforgettable experience; Earned a permanent place in my memory & i cant wait to cruise again lol......yup ready to book again.... visited some of the most beautiful places in the world, shore excursion were absolutely outstanding and the food .....sigh ;-).....great great great....

My wife and I are Platinum members with Carnival and have cruised on all the different classes of Carnival ships. However, the Carnival/Breeze did not impress us as much as it's sister ship, the Dream. It looks as if a different design team was in charge and were told to cut costs, as much as possible. In our opinion, the decor was not nearly as nice, not as much marble, etc. - looked cheap. We could not believe the quality of the food that was served - prime rib was too tough to chew. Guests all around us were requesting a different entre. For example, fried chicken, and that, too, was not up to Carnivals past standards. Entertainment in the Oviation Theatre was very high tech, not nearly as nice as previous enterainment. No band, extremely bright LED screens and recorded music was too loud, no Las Vegas style shows. We were not impressed with the changes Carnival has made. I truly hope, other Carnival ships will keep their band and not change to the high tech screen, etc. We have always looked forward to the great food and entertainment. Elevators were too small,, also, spent more time waiting for elevators to stop on requested floors. Not Good!! WHAT A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT, AND MONEY NOT WELL SPENT.. We will not cruise or recommend cruising on the Carnival/Breeze or any other Carnival Ship that has this new high tech entertainment. Please bring back the live band and live performers, as in the past.

We loved Carnival's newest ship, the Breeze. By far, the prettiest in their fleet. I especially liked the palm trees in the hallways and buffet area. You know right away someone new decorated this ship! The food was very good although I was a little disappointed in some of the desserts. Our balcony cabin was pretty much like every other balcony cabin we have had. We found the mattress to be too firm for us but you may think it is great. We have never run into that "problem" on any other cruise ship and this was our twenty-first cruise.The other minor problem I encountered was an awareness of noise outside our cabin. Usually when the door closes, you can count on peace & quiet. We noticed how the sound travels up from the promenade area all the way to the ninth deck. If we had not been so close to the elevator, we may not have noticed this, however. The comedians were very good but it seems Carnival has cut back on the entertainment in the big theater. This is a pattern we have noticed lately. Having said all of this, we would still go again!!

I was really worried about taking a carnival cruise since all the stuff recently in the news, but decided to take a chance. I am so glad I did. The carnival ship Breeze and it's staff were wonderful. They did everything they could to make you feel special. I hope to go back on the Carnival Breeze again real soon.

Cruising on Carnival is always nice. Crew is always polite and helpful. Ship is kept very clean. There are plenty of activities if you are interested in participating. My only complaint would be the music, which is way too loud. I know they want a party setting but when you have to yell to your neighbor to be heard, the music is too loud. I can hear music any day but cannot always visit with new friends. Carnival is very good at getting the passengers off and on the ship quickly.

I vacationed with 21 of my closest friends and family and we had a blast! The ship was beautiful, clean and fun. We did not attend any of the shows in the Ovation Theater so no comments there. Our rooms were located on the Lido Deck which was awesome. It was great to just walk out to the pools, bars and food. The food in the market place was great, lots of variety and good! The drinks were fabulous, if you made friends with the servers you had no problem getting drinks while you were on deck. We should have bought the drink package, some of our friends did and it was worth it! Only a couple of complaints: We never met our room steward! Our room was always spotless and I had towel animals, however on past carnival cruises we always met the room steward and with a little extra tip they took x-tra special care of us! We had a hard time with the Anytime dining. Our group was large so they had a hard time seating all of us together and had to split us up on most nights. The food was so so and it took FOREVER to be served! Most of our party ended up eating at alternate establishments. Because we were seperated and we never had the same waiter, we did not get that personalized treatment that you get in assigned dining.( drinks waiting for you, knowing your waiters name ect...) One of the waiters serving drinks had the worst personality! He never smiled and laughed at nothing! We all ate the Italian rest., some on multiple nights! The food and service was fabulous! for 12 dollars per person you can have all you want to eat! Night life was active and the entertainment around the ship was fantastic! We had kids ranging from 9 to 22 all of them had a fabulous time! Overall fantastic vacation, I would do it again!

I have been cruising for OVER 20 years and I must say that the cruise I took on the Breeze was by far hands down the worst food ever. The Pasta was like glue and not only was the food unetable but the presentation of the food told you not to eat the food. People eat with their eyes and they are not stupid. Not one main dish looked good enough to eat and it wasn"t. the only saving grace was the fact that we had the best servers you have on Carnival. our table number was 450 and we had dinner late sitting, Cookie was the server, Her and her two helpers tried their best to make things right, Unfortuneatly there was nothing they could do. This is the last time I will be cruising on Carnival for a long long time. Not only was the food bad but the cabin steward let a lot to be desired.Leaving dirty glasses and dishes in the room after he supposedly cleaned was a big turnoff. I am done with Carnival .Shame on you. Phyllis Marino

The ship is beautiful however the food left much to be desired in both taste and presentation. Either the meal was tasteless or most times swimming in an unappealing pool of gravy. Most dishes were just Bland and brown. Most of Ike dining room meals were somewhat salvaged by a most delightful wait staff headed up by Arnadia(Cookie). The entertainment was just plain awful. Once you saw the first show it was just a waste of time to go see a second since it was just a variation of the first. The hospitality onboard was pleasant and cheerful. this was our 7th Carnival cruise but just may be our last. we have been cruising for more tHan 30 years and I really can't say we were ever had these feelings before.

I loved the new ship. It was a lot of fun and cool stuff to do. I felt though it was more rocky then previous cruises I have been on, could have just been the weather. My server Pande and his team in the blush dinning room was awesome!

My overall experience on the Carnival Breeze was great! This was my first on time on the Breeze and it was great! The food was the norm as on any of the other ships I have sailed on. Just my opinion, Carnival should add more food on their menus because they all serve the same food and you basically know what they are going to serve. I must say thou Guy burger was excellent! The staff overall was GREAT!

we've been on 26 with carnival sure expected better treatment and service! booked to get away and relax , didn't work!!!!!!!! YOUR top priority was taking care of [far to many rude kids] instead of putting loyalty FIRST!!!!!!!! spent over 3 grand {no gambling} for what??? bottom line, think we'll go back to RCI. please relay to CEO.

Plenty of food selections from Guy's Burger, Mexican Cantina, Mongolian Wok, Tandoor (food from India), Pizza, etc. at no additional charge. Wonderful entertainment from Hasbro Games, nightly shows (especially Motown), comedy club, party @ piano bar, ocean plaza, bingo, etc. gave cruisers lots to see. Outside activities such as mini golf, full basketball court, rope course, two waterslides, etc. made it physically enjoyable. The best Ports were Curacao and Aruba for Southern Caribbean. Met some wonderful people from Indiana, Utah and West Virginia @ Main Dining. Over all, would love to do another cruise on Carnival the Fun Ship because we had a blast. Special thanks to Nate, Sam, Nykolas, and Denisse @ the rope course for doing their job well. They were excellent.

Lots of activities. Kids loved the water slides (me too), mini-golf, theater, etc. Immediately boarding the ship book the Steakhouse and the Italian restaurant for dinner! 5 Stars***** for both. I had a room with NO Balcony (1st floor), but 2 bathrooms and bunk beds for the kids and it was very comfortable. Nicest room of any cruise I've been on. The port hole acts as a really cool window seat for relaxing and reading a book. Entertainment was ok.. Shows where average, but comedians where great in the lounge. Food was ok in the dining room, but not the best. We lived on Guys burgers, Pizza and tacos! Awesome poolside eating and drinks. Overall 4-4.5 Stars. Would do it again if I had the chance.
