The cruise was a great time! Our cabin steward was wonderful. Our dining room waiter was very attentive and well read. The onboard Italian restaurant was outstanding, and had a wonderful, knowledgeable and most attentive staff. The deck activities were a blast - one of our party was actually a finalist contestant in one of them!

Well worth the money. If you don't want to pay for a balcony, the ocean view served us nicely. We didn't feel like we missed out on not having a balcony. The staff was friendly and even when we had to go to customer service a few times it went quick and they were super helpful. If you only have a short amount of time to do a cruise, this one is worth it.

This was our first cruise and overall we had a blast. Food was less than par and disappointing, but we weren't there for that. The on board bingo and Deal or No Deal was expensive for what you got, but fun. We will cruise again and now we know what to expect.

Very nice overall. But felt like the shorter cruises are not treated as "importantly" as longer ones. Very limited fun squad. Limited activities. Just felt a little "cheapy". The level of service was different. I enjoy Carnival cruises - but I did wonder about the shorter cruises. I am going to take another shorter one before I make a conclusion. BUT, the cruise director, Kegan, and the Fun Squad made it an excellent experience.

I enjoyed myself, the option to relax and just go with the floor was great. The food needs to be revisited as it was the same, minimal options, day in and day out. The things that were good was rare.

This was our first cruise ever....we will be back!!!!

After 10 plus cruises, this was the worst one! This was during spring break so lots of kids which usually isn't an issue for us (we always cruise during spring break with our teenage kids. The kids on this cruise were disrespectful as well as many of the adults. The food lines were the longest we have ever seen. The food staff were unfriendly and often looking at their phones. We were told 20 minutes before we were supposed to dock at Progreso that we wouldn't be able to due to unsafe conditions so we had an extra day at sea which usually isn't an issue for us but with the long lines and little entertainment we were very disappointed.

We love Carnival and will always use you for our cruises. The issues described above will not deter us. We will probably think twice about sailing on Breeze solely because of onboard texting experience but count on us for future cruises.

This was a great cruise. The appointment arrival time worked very good and quickly. The only thing I didn't like was that I had to purchase my own drinks for the first day even though I had a drink package. Security was quick to round up the teenage kids that were running around.

The main disappointment we had is they didn't dock at Costa Maya. The captain said the weather was bad, but it didn't seem bad to anyone on board. The ocean seemed calm, and we weren't even moving around. I didn't think that would even be an option to go all the way to the port and be told we couldn't dock. I would think Carnival would know the weather etc. before we got all the way there. Carnival should post on the itinerary the percentages of how often the port you are going to gets cancelled. We would have just booked the 3 day cruise to Cozumel if we knew that port doesn't make often.

Very good first cruise experience, but if you don't have kids, save yourself the inconvenience and go on an adults only cruise to accommodate the only issues I had with this cruise.

Fun, exciting relaxing great food great room, great sights

My review was based on my previous experiences versus this one.

Very nice -- this was hubby's first so he really enjoyed it. Maybe you have no kids cruises and I just dont know but kids are a NO for me -- trying to relax not see them all crazy with food and running. Staff was exceptional. Maybe have some incentives or rewards for using parking garages and shuttles. Should have had some discount when Progresso was cancelled or at least OBC for pics or food.

Use seperate untensils for meets & better choices for vegetarians.

First ever was a success! Loved the spa room and getting our hat done. Our staff was incredible.

We had an excellent time on Carnival Breeze out of Galveston. Our embarkation day was really rainy, and they were having a hard time getting people boarded, but all in all, the boarding was still really smooth and organized! We had a great time, eating tons of ice cream, going to comedy shows, relaxing at the spa, gambling at the casino, getting fancy on elegant night, and exploring Cozumel. This was our first cruise but not our last! Our disembarkation was extremely organized. We took our luggage off with us and were able to get off within 5 minutes; off by 7:35! So much fun!!!

We cruise every November. It's one of the high lights of our year. Can't wait until next November. Love the Breeze. Its the perfect size ship for us and has all the things we need. I know there's bigger and newer out there but Breeze is perfect for us.
