Review summary

After 10 plus cruises, this was the worst one! This was during spring break so lots of kids which usually isn't an issue for us (we always cruise during spring break with our teenage kids. The kids on this cruise were disrespectful as well as many of the adults. The food lines were the longest we have ever seen. The food staff were unfriendly and often looking at their phones. We were told 20 minutes before we were supposed to dock at Progreso that we wouldn't be able to due to unsafe conditions so we had an extra day at sea which usually isn't an issue for us but with the long lines and little entertainment we were very disappointed.

Main dining room service was horrible and most nights took 2+ hours. Dining staff never addressed us by name and always seemed to be in a bad mood.

We had "kids" with us (15 m and 12 f). They didn't really enjoy the kids clubs but they went there to meet up with friends and then go off and do their own things.

Cabin 6384 is right above a designated smoking area. We were unable to use our balcony much due to the endless smokers. We eventually got moved to room 7267 which was also a balcony and much better.

And why we will never, ever, ever cruise (or travel for that matter) during spring break! Seems to bring out the worst in fellow travelers. Sorry for your experience!
