We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room twice and it was a great experience, as opposed to using the buffet and searching for a free table, especially on days at sea.

The Anytime Dining worked well for us, and we thought our dining room waiter and Jr. waiter were exceptional. In general, the ship is a little more "tired" and run down looking than the other Princess ships we have been on.

We travelled on the beautiful Ruby Princess a few years ago and were impressed. Sadly this cruise line has gone down hill. I also think that if we had flown to the ship the clientele would have been different and there would have been fewer children.

Avoid the Palm restaurant, good food but limited access. Must go all the way to the back and then only 2 of the 4 elevators go down there. You can wait a long time for these overcrowded elevators with everyone trying to get there for the same diner seating.

If the MDR becomes objectionable, try to eat as many meals as possible in the specialty restaurants and other venues, such as on "Crab Shack" nights.
