Fantastic scenery in the Fjords by nicky1964

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Britannia / Destination: Scandinavia

My mother, partner and I all really enjoyed our cruise to the Norweigen Fjords. Scenery was amazing and places visited were lovely. Because of walking disabilities of my mother and partner, we didn't do as much as I would of liked but what we saw was fantastic. The Britannia was a very nice ship, except for the lift problems. Would definitely cruise again but I must say I preferred my cruise on Ventura.

Great holiday on the Britannia... by danielsara

Sail date: /
Ship: Britannia

Great holiday on the Britannia in April. This was our 6th family cruise and ranked very highly. The kids club (8 & 10 yr old) was the best buy far both on quality of staff and equipment, getting them out was the challenge the midnight pick up for no charge was the icing on the cake. Missing Guernsey due to winds the only disappointment.

The Britannia was ok, i... by DaveMid2000

Sail date: /
Ship: Britannia

The Britannia was ok, i would do another cruise on her but not in europe! The weather along with the size of the ship caused us to miss Saint Peter's port and sail directly to Southampton. Made sense but had a knock on affect of the shops and casino being closed which just added to our frustration of not being able to visit Guernsey. To cap it all the winds caused over an hours delay for disembarking and finally due to safety we are still waiting for our wheel chair access friends to board our bus. Pity really for everyone as P&O can't control the weather ! Would like to say i will sail again but so sure now.

A good value Easter cruise with interesting ports of call. Just a shame that St Peter Port was cancelled because of the weather.

Good week on this huge... by alan24

Sail date: /
Ship: Britannia

Good week on this huge ship. Very friendly crew and food was excellent. Ate at Sindhu and the Beach House. Couldn’t fault them at all. Usual moaning lot on board who couldn’t enjoy themselves if they tried! Petty whining and nonsense. Weather wasn’t the best but we can’t order that! Cabin was spotless and the gym was too. Storm Hannah prevented us from stopping off at guernsey so we arrived in port at Southampton on Friday evening to avoid the wind etc. Looking forward to my next adventure:)

Superb Canary Islands cruise by nikian

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Britannia / Destination: Canaries

Only ever travelled with p and o and have noticed very slight down turn regarding small items ie, don’t fold towels in animal shapes anymore also no sweets in cabins and slight lack of waiters on deck and buffet would appear they are cutting back on probably silly little things but to some these are things they go with p and o for

Best Cruise Ever. 5 stars. by eurolord

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Britannia / Destination: Canaries

This was a Strictly Come Dancing themed cruise and it was excellent. We met many of the stars onboard and watched a lot of great shows. The food and service was excellent in all the restaurants. We had a forward facing balcony cabin on deck 15 (A103) and much to our surprise it was an excellent cabin but we were lucky with the weather. Cabin steward was also very helpful. Can't think of any negatives except the lifts which seemed to have a life all if their own and more photographers are required on these cruises as they were overwhelmed by the amount of work from passengers.

Fantastic Caribbean Cruise by erwlon

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Britannia / Destination: Caribbean

We were a party of 14 in total celebrating a big birthday. We had a fantastic time and went on some days our own ways. Some of the parties are regular cruisers and found the cabins small on Brittania compared to older fleet ships. All enjoyed the food at the dining rooms, glasshouse, beach house and the lime light club. We did not try the epicurean etc this time. I found the self service buffet food not as good as previously whether because it had been standing a bit, baked beans very watery, bacon hard, but ok if you are in a rush. Made more use of the resteraunts so cannot comment on food at teatime and night. Loved it staff brill

Simply wonderful! by lynne1953

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

Lots to do when at sea. Shame there was only one speaker this trip, usually two speakers over the fortnight. Downside is they play current music rather than the traditional country music when line dancing.
