Review summary

This was a Strictly Come Dancing themed cruise and it was excellent. We met many of the stars onboard and watched a lot of great shows. The food and service was excellent in all the restaurants. We had a forward facing balcony cabin on deck 15 (A103) and much to our surprise it was an excellent cabin but we were lucky with the weather. Cabin steward was also very helpful. Can't think of any negatives except the lifts which seemed to have a life all if their own and more photographers are required on these cruises as they were overwhelmed by the amount of work from passengers.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The ships restaurants were amazing they were helpful when you couldn't decide what to have they told you want their opinion on the food also when you didn't know what to have for a starter or you didn't want any of then which was on the menu they would offer you melon. The staff were very friendly towards us .

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Excellent entertainment. All the shows we watched were top notch.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was the best thing ever because its was a strickly come dancing cruise we had all the entertainment from that but considering it was a strickly cruise there was still lots of other activities to do if you aren't interested in the strickly bit. I love shows the magician one was amazing considering the magician wasnt there it was done by the headlines theater company

Children's Programs

The kids club was ok in the H20 club if you like gaming, poker and board games but if you didn't enjoy those sorts of things it was quite boring

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It all looked fine to us.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Because this cabin is a front facing one we wasnt sure about it because the higher you are on tge ship the more the movement of the ship is felt, especially through the balcony can be used at sea even though we were told otherwise before the cruise. It turned out to be the best balcony ever because you can eat on the extra large balcony and you can read on the balcony while sunbathing instead of fighting to get a sun bed on top deck you can do it on your balcony and it's much more quiet than up there on top deck.

Ship tip

Book your next cruise onboard and yiu get a lot of benefits like double onboard spending money

Ports of call

La Palma, Canary Islands

5 out of 5
We loved the black sand beach which was nearly empty and only 5 minutes walk from the ship. Great shops as well.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
The disembarkation was one of the quickest ones we have ever done once your group has been called forward it's like two seconds before you get off the ship and collect your luggage
