Review summary
My mother, partner and I all really enjoyed our cruise to the Norweigen Fjords. Scenery was amazing and places visited were lovely. Because of walking disabilities of my mother and partner, we didn't do as much as I would of liked but what we saw was fantastic. The Britannia was a very nice ship, except for the lift problems. Would definitely cruise again but I must say I preferred my cruise on Ventura.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Brodie's
Had a few drinks in here because they sold Doom Bar, which is my partners favourite beer. He thought the prices were reasonable as well.
Peninsular Restaurant
We had most of our evening meals here or at the Meridien. All food choices were good but some meals weren't very hot. Enjoyed the meals and chatting to other cruisers.
Meridian Restaurant
Had most of our evening meals here or the Pennisular. Food choice was good. Although sometimes the food wasn't very hot. I liked it because the choices were different from what we would normally eat at home. Was also nice chatting to other cruisers too. Hearing their cruise experiences.
Onboard Activities
Serenity Pool & Bar
Only went here once, weather a bit too chilly! But very quiet and comfortable. I like it that the waiters come to serve you your drinks and all staff were very nice and polite.
Boutique Shopping Alley
I do find the shopping on board a bit expensive so didn't buy very much.
Entertainment
The Studio
We saw a couple of films in here. Comfortable seats, plenty of room. Also good access for people with walking aids.
Atrium
Nice but not that impressive. I thought the atrium on Ventura was a lot nicer.
The Live Lounge
Saw a couple of shows in the Live Lounge. 'Annie Lennox' and Wade Lloyd both were quite good. It was difficult to get seats though.
The Crow's Nest
I liked the Crows Nest. Very comfortable, although the pianist playing in there, didn't do much for us!
Headliners Theatre
Saw a few shows in there. All were very good. Seats comfortable as well.
