If it were not for the quality of food and our head waiter,George, the cruise would have been perfect.

Bring forgiving clothes. The food and drinks are delicious. I got 5 lb in a week. Well worth it.

Nice ship for beginning cruiser or short trip. Not interesting for long trip. Also many passengers were obsessed about their RCCL loyalty status. Very off putting.
figeljim
The ship does not have everything expected.

If you are sensitive to motion, don’t sail on Brilliance. Being a smaller ship, you feel every wave that hit. My sister got sea sick last couple days of the cruise.

Don't go.

Try the Lavender Daquiri in the Schooner Bar.

Definitely make a reservation at Chops. By far the best dinner we experienced on the cruise.

Try and get your room near an elevator. There’s a long walk if you don’t.

Early shows fill up faster. Go earlier for better seat selection.

Great for first timers but we that have been on cruises need more
rlhorner
We used the stairs instead of the elevators. We avoided the lines while burning off a few calories!

Research and have reasonable expectations of the ship. It is a little older and not a lot of the fun areas the new ships have to offer.

Go go with the waves to Mexico so the ride was smooth, you go against the waves back NOT so smooth.
jimnemeth
get a cabin closer to mid ship 7508 is all the way to the front - a lot of walking to everything
Ashtquia
This cruise is about relaxation with fun mixed in. If you need overstimulation choose another ship.

Bring earplugs!!!!

Not a good ship for kids in diapers if you want a break on your own.
amflor
