A: They did in the casino when we were on Brilliance this past October. We are on Odyssey now, and they do not have it. We have learned that if they do not sell enough Deluxe Drink packages, they will have them. If they sell enough, they will not.

Q: Is there a way for guests to communicate with each other within the app, without the internet package? Our last cruise, we bought the internet package and it was a waste of money, because the internet was so spotty. It wasn’t on the Brilliance, but I hate to pay all the money and not have sufficient service.

A: Royal app works on the ship wifi. We used it with our table friends. We also used it with each other. Sometimes regular I message works between I phones but not always. Remember to stay airplane mode.
Answered by joyell on November 1, 2024
A: Yes, as long as everyone you want to communicate with is on the same reservation. You would be able to connect to Wifi for free use of the Royal app, and to click the link on the app to send messages back and forth to those on your reservation. If yo... u have any issues, just stop by the Internet Desk and they'll assist you. Enjoy!See More

A: Hello,Random question:Does anybody have a nice hotel recommendation for 1 night before the cruise, within walking distance, preferably to 920 Port of New Orleans to board RCL ship for our cruise. Thanks
Answered by rl007 on November 12, 2024
A: Yes you can chat through the app. In the right corner there are 3 dots. You click on that to chat and connect with others you are onboard with. You just need their room number and when you request they will accept and you can chat with each other.... You do not have to have the internet plan to use that feature.See More

A: We sailed on Brilliance in April and again in August and had no problems with the Wi-Fi. We were able to stream shows and movies on our laptop with no issues. Now that Royal has Starlink the days of crappy wifi on ships are gone.

A: We suggest you reach out to Royal to confirm which rooms have double sofa beds. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/contact-us. Some of the suites do offer a double sofa bed. A: Yes you can bring extension cord, but not with a power strip
Answered by retired2024 on April 22, 2023
A: Yes fan, no power strip extension cord
Answered by MulletChamp2024 on February 7, 2023
A: A power strip is fine as long as it does NOT have a surge protector function. I realize that people can and do bring the surge protectors, but they are forbidden in RC's guidelines.

A: Do you know if there is an outlet by the bed?
Answered by Lori6179 on February 13, 2023
A: I have only traveled RC the past several years, even prior to Covid, but have taken a square 5”x5” surge protector/ extension cord for all of my trips. Including last fall’s trip on Brilliance (which was fabulous btw). No one has said anything to me... about having it.See More

Q: Hi All! I am booked for a Brillance of the Seas stateroom 9650. I am getting conflicting information about this balcony being obstructed. Cruise line categorized this room as unobstructed. Other websites state it’s obstructed. Anyone have any first hand insight? Thanks

A: We just did a B2B out of Venice to Tampa in Oct / Nov on her…we were in 9638 and also another deck 9 cabin. Had to switch cabins after first leg to Rome. One was port and one was Starboard. Only obstruction was the canopy covering the life boats on d... eck 5..so you could see out just fine but if trying to look straight down from your balcony you couldn’t see directly down to the water..or the dock if tied up….but it was really not an inconvenience.See More

A: Check the deck plan on Royal Caribbean’s website. Does not appear to be obstructed.

Q: What dining is included in the tour and which do you need to pay? Trying to decide if meal packages are worth it.

A: We love the main dining room so we have not seen the need for specialty restaurants but those who pay for them love them.
Answered by GriffFamily on January 22, 2023
A: You have plenty of food for free but the dining packages are great. Food is delicious no matter where!! So if you wanna save money it’s just up to you. Also they do give you a few options to order from the restaurants on the menu at main dining for a... little extra money. Not full price you would pay for going to the actual restaurant so that’s kinda coolSee More
Answered by hmmoore on January 22, 2023
A: Dining in the Main Dining Room and at the Windjammer Buffet are available to everyone and included in your cruise price. Dining in specialty restaurants like Chops Grill and Giovanni’s Table cost extra and can be purchased for individual meals or as... part of the dining package.See More
