Look, it was a cruise with friends, we had a great time. Our experience however has made it clear that we will think long and hard before ever cruising with royal Caribbean again. I'd recommend you look elsewhere.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced on a cruise. Dinner service took 2 hours minimum and the food was frequently at the wrong temperature i.e. hot food was not hot, ice cream was melted, e.t.c. on several occasions we got the wrong food, and were twice billed for upgraded food we did not order.

Ok at best if you like gambling in a cloud of smoke, or sitting by the pool with no attendants, your in heaven.

I seriously thought the ship band was doing karaoke, they truly sucked. Two of the headliner were pretty good, the others were really bad.

The cabin steward was great. Other than that, the crew was below average compared to other cruises we've been on.

General cleanliness was ok, the exterior needed some attention... rust. Dirty dishes were slow to be picked up which wouldn't have been as big a problem if there were places to put your dirties.

Very nice, spacious room. Only complaint is the veranda door will not lock in an open position so ship movement causes it to slam open/ shut unless it's locked shut. And.... only 2 outlets in the whole room

Don't, check out Norwegian first. Royal Caribbean are always looking to upcharge you.
The main reason that dirty room service dishes stay outside on the floor is because you were basically at a hotel and if you ever had room service in a hotel it is the same process when you are finished your simply leave them in your room and then cabin Stewart will deal with them 😁

I was on Brilliance Of The Seas...and loved it.. although I must say dirty dishes stayed outside cabin doors way too many hours. But then again I dont understand "room service" on a cruise anyway?!?. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The ship was fine. Dont listen to all these negative reviews.
I wouldn’t judge an entire cruise line based on one cruise on an older ship on a short itinerary. Try a newer ship on a longer itinerary for a better experience. We love the smaller ship and have always had a great experience. Excellent food, service, entertainment, etc. We never pay for anything other than the base cruise fare and gratuities and have a great time.
We just got off y BOTS and disagree with everything you said 😁 and not being able to lock open the balcony door anyone who actually cruised before knows that you can't 😃
We were on same cruise. Did not have those experiences. Other than the smoky casino. Your room was way better than ours tho.
PS, you are not supposed to leave veranda door open.
