Not so Azamazing Pursuit Cruise by debraalt22

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Pursuit / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

The directors need to work more closely together for better guest experience. New cruise director needs better training. Hotel director very seasoned & great leader. However food disappointing. Spa was terrible & should be removed from the ship!!!

This was our almost ideal South America Adventure by barry69

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Pursuit / Destination: South America

We love Azamara among the other cruise companies for the small size of the ship, the good food, the great cabins, the excellent service, and the great ports of call they have chosen. We generally do not mind the lesser quality of onboard activities, and shows provided on the Pursuit but have suggested they increase the quality of these activities.

South American Cruise by howardapage

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Azamara Pursuit / Destination: South America

We enjoyed our cruise around South America. South America was not high on our list of places to visit, but we learned a lot and saw a lot. I don’t know if I would return or not, but some places, such as Monttvideo, Punta Del Este and Buenos Aires would be worth visiting again. I would not return to Lima Peru. There is a nice shopping center along the coast and the Fountains Park are great. That’s about it though. While visiting South America, which is a long way from our home, we found it was worth extra time to visit Iguazu Falls, especially since it is quite close.

It was a great, relaxing, well-paced time at sea! by jnbadams

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Pursuit / Destination: Transatlantic

Excellent but should have free WiFi or as an option for free alcohol Excellent use of all space including eliminating cascino. Open access to captain and other crew (promoted relaxation and enjoyment.) Presentation by skilled entertainers appreciated. (History lecturer disorganized) Instructor on I-phone etc. dedicated and timely. Change of itinerary handled well. Many food stations really enjoyed.

Missed the two best ports due to weather; the ship is too small and lacks variety in food, entertainment, decks, excursions....disappointing for a high end cruise. The staff however was amazing and unparalleled in service. by dslglfpt

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Pursuit / Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean

38th anniversary cruise was so disappointing although the bad weather- flooding and 90 mph winds when we reached Livorno was not the ship's fault. I think Azamara could have done more to substitute/compensate than require you to book another cruise. The ship is too small for us; too little variety; too sedentary. But lovely staff and you are treated well. The special events are great and the food then is also. Otherwise not worth it.

Great crew led by a top-notch captain. A few really amazing performances - in Valetta, Malta and aboard the ship by Italian opera stars

Journey to Beauty by barbdevir

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Azamara Pursuit / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

This cruise was pretty much what I expected. There are a few wrinkles to be worked out on the ship like no interactive TV. Everything (booking excursions, checking bills, etc.) must be done in person. You can do all of this 24/7 at guest relations if offices are closed. Also furniture in stateroom was not well arranged which made getting around the cabin difficult. We never sat on the couch! It was too hard to get to. As always, Azamara was great.

The ports were interesting and easily explored on ones own if sufficient research had been done.

Azamazing Aegean by bejacob

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Azamara Pursuit / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

A truly fantastic experience. Our itinerary changed slightly due to weather, but the substitute ports were wonderful. I can't think of a better way to see the Greek islands than by cruise. The ship and crew were amazing. Everything was first rate. Both the Azamazing Evenings event and the White Nights party were so much fun. I can't wait to get on board another Azamara cruise.

A amazing cruise by markers333

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Pursuit

We have come to love Azamara Cruises. It’s not for everyone which is a good thing since there is very limited space for booking on their ships. They are sophisticated yet casual and not stuffy. The clientele who sail make them personable.

Fabulous Ship, Captain and Crew by Pboothe

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Pursuit / Destination: South America

This was our first Azamara cruise and we were so impressed with everything, we decided that we will be an Azamara Customer for life. The service was fabulous and with a smile. The food in the dining room was fabulous and the menu had many choices. Pool area had some shade with lounge chairs to get out of the sun. The gym was great with a view, plenty of equipment and area for yoga and Pilates classes, spin cycle classes. They offered watercolor painting , jewelry making, and needlepoint classes at no charge. The 3 piece live band played prior to dinner and after dinner. We danced almost every night. There were a variety of shows with 2 seatings. The Captain Carl and Cruise directorTony were always around smiling and available if you had any questions. The ship was very bright and very clean. If you have never been on an Azamara Cruise, YOU Should Go On One, You will not be Disappointed. We have been on other cruise lines and we were VERY impressed with Azamara!!!!

Splendid repositioner cruise by julieNmike

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Azamara Pursuit / Destination: Transatlantic

Splendid Cruise, slightly let down by weather and striking dock workers on consecutive days. Azamara are great, but We do think though that They don’t give sufficiently more than Celebrity to justify the higher price point. Back to SevenSeas for us for ‘proper’ luxury. 😎

Wonderful itinerary; great service; highly recommend cruise line by Reichel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Azamara Pursuit / Destination: Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

Great cruise line; nice staff and decent extras on board made it a classy cruise ship. Not much onboard glamor like the bigger ships but good enough. Our emphasis was on the itinerary and shore excursions. The places in Croatia and Montenegro were astounding...was completely azamazed!
