Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Overall good flavours however the lunch buffet was visually unappealing. Many offerings looked to be overcooked and had the appearance of leftovers combined into a new dishes. Thankfully the taste exceeded appearances. Dinner were wonderful, fresh and a good variety.

Prime C Specialty Dining

2 out of 5

Service was outstanding however the night was quite disappointing overall. Very limited options for this the second of only two main specialty dining options available on-board. My steak was cooked to order but it had excessive amounts of gristle and fat.

Aqualina Specialty Dining

5 out of 5

Loved it! The food and service were outstanding. Dinner options held a nice variety. The taste and plating were both exceptional.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
I am aware Azamara cruises are designed and intended to allow passengers to experience the ports primarily however, if you did not wish to go ashore or wanted to return early there was very little to do on board. The evenings were just as lacking in activity/entertainment options.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Lack of overall variety.

Children's Programs

No children accompanying me.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
This is where Azamara really excels. The Pursuit's staff and crew were by far the friendliest and most accommodating we have experienced in the 15 cruises we have taken (5 dif cruise lines). Can't say enough about them!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Overall spotless however our cabin was situated port side forward and we experienced a constant raw sewage smell whenever the ship was in port. Often driving us from our balcony. No one seemed able to explain the cause.

Cabin / Stateroom

As have many others before us we agree...the shower is too small!

Straight to/from airport to cruise port...didn't really get to enjoy this city.
