Review summary
Our first world cruise since the Covid pandemic. Arcadia is not in a tired state despite recent reports, she is as wonderful as ever, a beautiful ship with a classic ambience. The infamous buckets collecting leaking water did appear but a cruise on Arcadia wouldn’t be complete without them, she’s got plenty of character! Yes there has been a slight drop in standards on P&O in general but was glad to see that high standards were being maintained on Arcadia. The crew were phenomenal and really looked after us. The food was very good although there were some slightly questionable concoctions on certain menus but we never struggled. We are booked on Arcadia’s eastern circumnavigation for 2026 and it will be lovely to be back on board this wonderful ship. We very much enjoy the traditional experience that she offers although I would stay clear of the new P&O ships.Ship experiences
