Please if you like the show, please book them in advance on line and if you don't like the hassle of looking for a place to have dinner just set your dinning time, that's a deal breaker for me. I like having dinner at a set time, with the family to chit chat and family time for the day.
The best tip anybody can give you is make your reservations ahead of time for free dining shows specialty dining short short sturgeons make your reservation early we had no issue we were like 5 months ahead of time it was great but that's what you got to do you can't wait to do it on board
Get dinner reservations early! We didn't get to go to Chops because we waited too late to get dinner reservations. Even the general dining needs reservations. Download the IQ app before you board to help with all of that.
We did as much as possible in advance of boarding. We tried to get on the north star and bumper cars only to find the Northstar was totally booked for the whole cruise and the bumper cars every time we went there the court was being used for basketball or soccer. Or roller skating.
Book your tours as soon as you can on line. Being our first cruise we waited until we where on the ship. As a result we did not get the tours we really wanted.
book your shows and dinning in advance in order to avoid waiting.. also, although you have reservations for your shows it's advisable to go 1/2 hr. early for the lines gets full pretty fast.. and if you are lucky you'll be able to enter to get a good seat..
Make sure to bring all medications, your hanky or extra tissues w/aloe (to give your sneezes luv.)
_This is Optional but Recommend- bring a security comfort from home, (ex... a warm blanket or sleep shades, slippers or your favorite teddy, picture of someone special.
_So you wont get home sick.
