Perfect Trip by Cruiser87037811

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

We had a great time! We went to Pearl Island which is a hidden gem! We also did the water park at Coco Cay which was also fantastic! The shows on the ship were great and we enjoyed way too much food!

Good, but Some Adjustments Needed by HudsonValleyNY

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

I enjoyed the ship - it is quite stunning. Some of the features need some fine-tuning: the sound system for the deck movies sounded tinny, and one evening the movie was delayed with no updates due to a sporting event being broadcasted instead. I do commend the staff for maintaining order when some unaccompanied minors were disrespectful to the buffet staff. All in all, I enjoyed the cruise, and looking forward to my next.

Overall my trip was relaxing and much needed. The service was great, the attendees were kind and accommodating My only gripe was the day I went to the casino.

Its been quite a few years since sailing on Royal Caribbean, but the quality of the cruise experience has definitely declined. by Cruiser66439119

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

Think twice before sailing during spring break. The teens on the ship were wild! There were numerous fights that resulted in serious injury, and nightly takeovers of the Solarium.

Excellent introduction into cruising by jesses50776047

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

This was the first time we have gone on a cruise as a family. We really did love it. It was a great adventure and we made many memories. I spoke to several other travelers and we all agreed the food was good probably better than average but it didn't blow us away compared to other cruises we have been on. The staff was top notch for the most part. We loved all of our servers especially Suban our waiter. Our only complaints were that the boat seemed a bit crowded at times. Also the biggest draw back was the number of unsupervised teens especially later at night. They were often loud, rude, and obnoxious. I might be getting old but I remember cruising when I was a teen and would have never dreamed of behaving the way some of the kids did on this ship. Also this might be me getting older and more conservative and I'm sure my 13 year old son would disagree with me but the number of women in thongs and skimpy swimming suits was a bit shocking. Also the one thing I have found about every cruise I have been on is every port of call I feel rushed. I feel like the clock starts ticking before I even get off the ship. We might look into a cruise that goes to one port of call for more than a few hours. Final summation the staff, servers and ship were all a delight and we would very much consider going again.

Perfect Spring Break by Cruiser63149942

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

We loved sailing out of NJ, it was so convenient for us to drive to a port and avoid airports and extra hotels. We loved joining in the activities in the SeaPlex such as bumper cars, roller skating and laser tag (especially on a rainy sea day). We enjoyed the main dining room and buffet meals. I loved the dance classes and we were impressed with the size of the fitness center. The staff on the ship were wonderful and we really felt like we had a great vacation.

Trip was meh... by nelsonlncstr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

For some reason, this ship has taken last place in my list of favorites. I think it's more the itinerary than the ship, although it does appear to need an aesthetic overhaul.

It was an amazing cruise. Everything went very smooth. Weather which initially was predicted to be cloudy and raining turned out to be beautiful and warm. Everyone was so polite and happy. No complaints.

Very relaxing cruise. by baunderwood92

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

The most relazing cruise we have ever had. Breakfast on the balcony most mornings, lunch from Izumi brought to room. Only left ship once and never fought the crowds in Windjammer.

Great all-in-one option for vacation from NYC by ItsAnthony

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

This was the easiest and most enjoyable process. On boarding, cruising to great places and off boarding without a flight and all its tangled restrictions made travel with children easy and got us to have real fun and enjoy a vacation immediately.

Great Cruise Great People by stacylynne75

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

This was my first cruise and I will say that I ejoyed it so much that I booked my second one while I was on the boat! The entire ship was so clean the staff was unbelieveable nice and helpful and I just really enjoyed the entire trip. I would love for there to be a cruise with multiple days at Coco Cay. Especailly in the winter, it was just so nice to sit there and relax while the kids did the waterpark rides!!

Perfect Way to Relax & Have fun! by Utah35

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Anthem of the Seas

Wish the weather would have been better, so we could have enjoyed snorkeling on Coco Cay, but the wind was blowing way hard and it was cold. The enjoyment and relaxation of the cruise still made the vacation great. So many things to do on board, there wasn't even a need to go ashore if you don't want to.
