Review summary

Excellent Alaska cruise itinerary, the embarkation and diembarkation process was smooth. We like the fact that we did not have to wait in a long line.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Very smooth and efficient.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food in specialty restaurants were excellent but not in the buffet or dining room.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Our favorites were America's Test Kitchen and the piano bar.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We like the multiple bars options with variety of music genre.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Overall the service was good and the staff works hard.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
There wasn't much on board. We're always lost because of the way the ship was designed.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Althought it needs an update but we were actually very satisfied with our cabin location and it was quiet. The bed and bedding were comfortable, and we liked there alot of storage closets.

Ship tip

Great Alaska cruise itinerary but the ship is much older and there's not a whole lot to do. The spa is very small. I was quite dissapointed as I was hoping to do more spa experiences during sea day, due to the facility, I ended up trying it once only. Another time was just having a hair salon service but not a spa experience.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
Yes, self excursion.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
It was fantastic! We did the wildlife boat ride with crab feast at the lodge. Highly recommeded.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Excellent! We did the Musher camp training, Mendenhall Glacier and Salmon Bake Dinner, Mt. Robert Tramp.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

5 out of 5
Beautiful and serene! We did the morning whale watching.

Anchorage, Alaska

4 out of 5
We did the 26 glaciers. But we didn't find the port has the same charm as the other ports.

Homer, Alaska

5 out of 5
We love Homer! Picture perfect quaint little sea town! We did the hop on hop off bus ride. We enjoyed spending time at the local shops with local artists at the Spit.

Kodiak, Alaska

4 out of 5
I skipped the excursion but my husband did the Abercrombie State Park hike excursion. This port was not as fun and interesting as Homer and Sitka.

Sitka, Alaska

5 out of 5
Sitka another favorite port of ours! We did the Fortress of the Bears and the Raptor Center.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
Beautiful and vibrant! We did the evening light Butchard Garden. Highly recommended. In the summer, the garden has their free music series.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was quick and efficient. We did not have to deal with a long line or crowd.
