Terrific cruise by MikeK13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Largest ship of the fleet I believe. 3500 passengers but you never felt crowded or rushed. You could stroll the decks at night and maybe see only five or six people about.

It was my best relaxing trip ever by DonnaC13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Our cruise wa aboard Adventure of the Seas to the southern Carribean. We cruised with our daughter and her husband, our grand daughter and her friendd and our son-in-laws parents. This was our first cruise and we decided to have a balcony. What a wonderful choice and well spent dollars. While cruising at night we were able to sit out on the balcony in the dark and relax and watch the stars and often be able to see some of the islands. I was warned about the food aboard these cruises and the warnig was right. The food was great and very abundant. Beinging waited on like we were was not what we are use to. All the wait persons were great and very friendly, and helpful. We were able to attend many activities aboard the ship and the entertainment was very good. I would recommend a cruise to anyone, and we will probably go on several.

Great Vacation by StevenJ3

Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The Adventure of the Seas is an incredible ship. The royal promanade was the most impressive part of the experience. Having never been on a cruise before I was overwhelmed when I boarded. The mix of shops, and bars was perfect. There truely was something on this ship for everyone.

Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The ship was amazing, there was plenty to do on it and we had a good time just walking around taking in the atmoshphere. I liked the band that played by the pool, it made me really feel like I was on vacation! I also really liked the shows that they had, like the beatles band and the musicals they were great!

Very nice ship. I've been on other cruises before and the "Adventure of the Seas" was the nicest so far. Everything clean, plenty of things to do, and many nice features to appreciate.

great cruise by Gina1

The ship was just amazing. Very comfortable state rooms with tons of storage. We loved the balcony, and enjoyed having room service several times out there. The service was very good, but the food was not always great. We found the buffet to be the same choices over and over. In the dinning room, dinner was good if you ordered from the special choices, but if you ordered from the daily choices listed over on the right side of the menu the food we chose was not good (salmon was one of our choices and it was dry and rubbery). We also did not like that the only way to get something to drink out at the pool area was to pay for it (no offering of Iced tea or lemonaid). An outdoor grill at the pool would be nice to allow for lunch and aquiring drinks other than mixed drinks and soda. The bar waiters pass through the pool area about every 10 to 15 minutes yelling "cocktails". It makes it very hard to relax by the pool. Other than that, we could have stayed on the ship the whole time without setting foot on land. We especially enjoyed the people we met and the ladies at our dinner table. The cruise staff did a great job of matching us up with our dinner companions. We will probably plan another cruise with the 4 ladies at our table.

An exceptional cruise experience by LoriW3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The Adventure of the Seas was just fantastic. The ship was immaculate, from one end to the other. There is always something to do, whether it be lounge by the pool during the belly flop contest or head to the spa. The staff are AWESOME!!! We really enjoyed the adult pool section given our children stayed at home! The food was beyond wonderful from the buffet with all the choices to the dining room experiences. The Royal Promenade was always bustling with excitement. It is amazing how 3600 can be on a ship and we never felt crowded! What a great ship to be on is all we can say!

It was better than we expected. Excellent shows for everyone and the gym is a great choice for the people who can't resist an excellent cuisine. Congratulations for being the best cruiseship of the world.

Great Cruise! by KristaP1

Ship was fantastic. Staff was great. The only complaint is that the days on board the ship, the pools were too crowded. A lazy river would be even better on a cruise. Ice rink and rock wall were fun too.

What a vacation!! by ChrisC24

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

The Adventure of the Sea's is a beautiful ship. It has so much to offer you can't possibly do it all in a week. It was hard to believe that 3000 people were on the ship at once. The only time we really had to wait for anything was at the elevator coming back from an excursion. When that would happen we would use the stairs which wasn't bad. Our stateroom was in the front of the ship and with most things to do in the middle or back of the ship it was easy to navigate and took much less time than I thought it would. I timed it once and it only took 5 mins. Not bad! The staff was excellent, the food was good and the entertainment was great. We were ready for our next cruise before we even got done with our first!!!!

We cruise often and this cruise was very enjoyable. The entertainmanent was wonderful and the food and dining staff were terrific. We even had lifestyle photographs taken of our daughters and they turned out fantastic!!! Our oldest daughter loved the rock climbing wall and our youngest daughter loved the ocean and beaches at each port.

Adventure of the Seas by JohnS63

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

Overall good value. Slightly disappointed with food presentation and variety. Have been on several Princess cruises where the dining experience is much more impressive. Don't miss the ice shows and overall would rate the entertainment superb! Great mini golf but the teens were disappointed with Johnny Rockets - cover charge and then had to pay for a milk shake. Island Grill closed at 9:00 on most evenings and we prefer anytime dining compared to 6:00 or 8:30 seatings, Rooms very nice but a few more feathers in the mattresses would have been appreciated. Great gym and rock climbing wall.

I love the size of the ship. It was like a floating city. My overall impression is The adventures Of The Ses is the greatest.

Caribbean cruise...great trip by RobertN13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Adventure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

We had been on this ship in the past, and our expectations were met. The ship's size is not an issue with plenty to do. This was the most relaxing vacation because we picked our favorite balcony cabin, 8390 in the rear starboard corner of the ship. We enjoyed the full moon on the balcony three of the four nights, and the weather was terrific. The room steward was adequate, but the wait staff at dinner was hardworking and very earnest in their efforts to secure our satisfaction. All in all, it was a good vacation.
