Review summary

The ship was just amazing. Very comfortable state rooms with tons of storage. We loved the balcony, and enjoyed having room service several times out there. The service was very good, but the food was not always great. We found the buffet to be the same choices over and over. In the dinning room, dinner was good if you ordered from the special choices, but if you ordered from the daily choices listed over on the right side of the menu the food we chose was not good (salmon was one of our choices and it was dry and rubbery). We also did not like that the only way to get something to drink out at the pool area was to pay for it (no offering of Iced tea or lemonaid). An outdoor grill at the pool would be nice to allow for lunch and aquiring drinks other than mixed drinks and soda. The bar waiters pass through the pool area about every 10 to 15 minutes yelling "cocktails". It makes it very hard to relax by the pool. Other than that, we could have stayed on the ship the whole time without setting foot on land. We especially enjoyed the people we met and the ladies at our dinner table. The cruise staff did a great job of matching us up with our dinner companions. We will probably plan another cruise with the 4 ladies at our table.

We found so much to do and see on this island we were sorry our time there was not as long as it was in Aruba.

Oranjestad, Aruba

Not much to do here except the beach. Shopping was poor, food was fair. Too much time at this port.

Pros: the ship was amazing

Cons: the waiters at the pool yelling "cocktails" every 10 min. It was hard to relax, read a book, or sleep. Also, we wanted somewhere out at the pool to get Iced tea or lemonaid and grab something for lunch or snack without having to walk the long distance to the buffet.
