Review summary

This was a very busy cruise! We visited five ports with only one day at sea. The staff on the ship were great!  Always smiling, friendly and went out of their way to do whatever you needed! The food was good as usual. We were a two party group and when we booked we asked that we be seated at same table but we were not at the same table and not even in the same dining room, but the head waiter (Richie)finally put us in the My Time dining room. He made sure we got the same table every night and came by several times to make sure everything was fine. Another example of the great staff!

There were two issues that were annoying. The beds are really needing replaced. You can feel bars in your back, but I think this ship is going to be renovated next year. And the other problem are some of the other passengers and their rudeness. Pushing their way onto elevators, once almost knocking down a frail elderly veteran. We had to call out that individual! But there is no cure for other's rude behavior and this is not new to this cruise. We have experienced this on every cruise we have taken.

Beds need replaced! But cabin was clean with lots of storage. Balcony did need to be cleaned. Someone left a t shirt on it.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Cost of a two minute taxi ride is $10.00! No refills on drinks like tea or soda. You had better love plantains if you plan to eat local dishes! Bars covering business and homes. Local people are very friendly though.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

The water here is absolutely fabulous turquoise in color. Buck island is a must both for beach and for snorkeling!

Swimming with the stingrays was great.

Castries, St. Lucia

We did the island tour to see banana trees, stopped at volcano and mud bath? They provided a breakfast w fruits and local foods. Went snorkeling at sugar beach. There were sea urchins there though so beware.

St. George's, Grenada

We took a private tour and it was awesome. Went to nutmeg and chocolate factories and the rum distillery and ate at the plantation.

Pushing people in elevators is a New Yorker mindset. They aren't even aware of their behavior. If you want a subdued experience go on a Princess Cruise, but you may get mowed down by a battalion of Rascal Scooters.
