Did not Visit Fiordland or Port Chalmers the Captain choose Picton because of Bad/Rough seas

Overall this cruise was excellent. It was just what we needed as we had not had a break in about 18 months and all work full time. We were able to catch up on some much needed rest and just enjoy being together - lots of laughs and totally relaxed by the end of the cruise. Best thing was I did not have to cook Christmas Dinner this year!

Overall very good. The staff are attentive but photos, as expected are expensive but to have to pay $20 USD just for the digital copy and nothing else is absurd. Shore excursion is extremely overpriced in some locations.

Thing this cruise could of stopped other places , officers and staff not friendly seemed to not bother speaking to you if they saw you , would not sail on this ship again and would not recommend

Great holiday, great food, great staff. Very relaxing

This is now rated as one of our best cruise experiences. The Regatta was always clean, comfortable and a pleasure to come home to after a long day ashore. The service on board is excellent and we never had to wait for a table or make reservations to dine in the elegant main dining room. All the cities and towns we visited in Australia were delightful and and enlightening.

Disappointed for not visiting the Sounds and Dunedin. Only got one day refund when I feel it should have been two days refund. The captain decided to go to Picton instead but not much to do

We’ve booked another cruise on the celebrity eclipse, sister ship to the solstice... that’s how much we enjoyed it!

My Request Thanks for your explanation regarding my concerns. I would like to give you of an unfair example. I met two ladies that booked 3 months prior and paid $1,700pp (3,400) for a Balcony cabin #9242 on deck 9. I bought this to the attention of manager Alexandra. Later I was told they had noisy neighbors above them and complained to customer service. They received 2 bottles of wine and a $250pp voucher for their next cruise. This was their first Celebrity cruise compared to my 6th cruise. I paid $7,000 (same as a guest in a suit) in an Ocean cabin on deck 3. Does this feel fair Celebrity? I feel disappointed and frustrated with this kind of treatment from Celebrity. We are individuals and NOT a number!!! The least you could do is give me a $500 voucher for my next cruise. I would love to cruise on the new Edge ship in the future. Please make my day! For a 3 day cruise was fun and relaxing food great the energy from people was enjoyable lovely ship a lot to do or just relax Only downfall was not given the right triple cabin and having the third passenger sleep on floor and not to be offered anything But in process of going through TA and RCI

Second time on the Majestic Princess but last tim was around NZ where only one port was a tender port, because this cruise had three tender ports and extra bus trips to get to the destination it took away the enjoyment of going ashore but in saying that we still had a great cruise but would check the itinerary carefully before choosing this ship again

Sailed in a party of 9 we all had a great time, I particularly did not want to get off.

In the past the cruise line just charged our credit card at the end. But this time they charged nearly every day and that wasn't being reflected on our room statement. There was an issue with the credit card and we had trouble fixing it as the internet on the ship was woeful. Which added a bit of stress to our holiday. And then tgat ridiculous hold they put on your credit card for a week after you get home is a pain.

first experience in RCI and lacked attention to detail

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. This is our second. Only thing we would do differently is better research on our port excursions.

A very relaxing cruise, good amenities, excellent staff and fantastic food. Interesting and beautiful ports and some great photographic opportunities. The only negative was the wine tasting excursion, the bus tour driver was great but the actual wine tasting was dismal.

Lovely 13 night New Zealand Cruise, traveling along East Coast of NZ, and returning to Sydney.
