Review summary

In the past the cruise line just charged our credit card at the end. But this time they charged nearly every day and that wasn't being reflected on our room statement. There was an issue with the credit card and we had trouble fixing it as the internet on the ship was woeful. Which added a bit of stress to our holiday. And then tgat ridiculous hold they put on your credit card for a week after you get home is a pain.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was great quality, but we didn't eat at the main restaurant as we weren't able to get a booking due to being full each time we tried. Most of our meals were in the windjammer buffet. Food was exceptional except for the gluten free options which were very limited.

Service and Staff

Awesomeness service in every area.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Very clean ship but some of the fabric upholstery is getting a bit stained and shabby.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved our cabin and the slightly larger balcony overlooking the wake.

Ship tip

Don't rely on the internet service, which is often not working

Never had a hold on a credit card. They do put them on debit cards to make sure you have sufficient funds to pay bill.

They don’t actually charge your card until the end, but do put a hold daily on the charges you make. This ensures the charges will be covered when the final total is charged. The hold time is set by the card issuer, not the cruise line. As long as you aren’t near your limit, it’s not an issue.
